I think I enjoyed gears as much as anyone could. I was also blinded by it. I compared everything else I was playing to it, or more to the fun I was getting off of it. It was like a drug, now that Im off it, I see what I was missing.

I'm not blinded by anything, and neither are its legion of fans. You're just not into it anymore, alright... we get it. Your opinion =/= fact, though. Btw, Gears was NEVER one of my favorite games, so I never had that addiction.

nice to see the powers of the "DARKSIDE" (the ps3) working:)............ but seriously, nice to see you and some people realising the truth and not being blinded by gears and halo and staying in denial that the PS3 is the superior console period this gen..... I know it was weird ...... I was playing gears it was great , two years enjoying the online.. then suddenly it hit me...it was brown textures were popping in and out everywhere. The draw distance was pissing me off. I realized I was only playing against 4 other players and that Cliffy B was an ***

At that moment I realized what I had been longing for an overpriced console with a library that was inferior to the console I owned. So I bought a blueray player, that also plays games and enjoyed the PS3's 8 hour long exclusive games and hanen't been happier since..

You know that's exactly what you fanboys soundlike right?

I cant stand the fact that no one ever talks on PSN....and when they do it is full of static and reverb......Warhawk is fun.....but damn... it gets old after awhile ..

Only time I played Gears online was with friends in co-op...Still fun to this day..

I enjoyed Warhawk again once they implemented trophies and in game music but that only lasted two weeks, just got bored of it again.

I know what you mean. I got rid of gears ages ago but I played it over a friends house not long ago and it looks good still, but not great. UT3 beats it.

though dont get me wrong when it came out I was wowed by its graphics and loved the game.

I also enjoy warhawk though. imo the online is miles ahead plus you can do splitscreen online which is just brilliant.

Ok, let me get this straight, you list PS3 exclusives that are coming out in like 2 or more years, you list all multiplats as PS3 games, and you fail to mention numerous 360 exclusives such as Banjo 3, Viva TIP, TOV, Halo Wars, and Alan Wake. Not to mention home is not a game and Bioshock is already on the 360. Fanboy much?

That was an absurdly fanboyish post, even for System Wars. Besides, you're not only being extremely bias, you also have no idea what you're saying. Some games the release date is in 2009. Killzone 2? That's gonna be crap. God of War 3? 2009. BioShock? I've had it for a year now :) As for Home they've been announcing it for a while now so I wouldn't get your hopes up that youre getting it this year.

Multiplat is multiplat. MS exclusive doesn't exist.

Just like Singstar or Buzz! Quiz TV (PS3) wouldn't be exclusive if the same version would be on the ps2 or psp. Like NBA 09: The Inside or MLB: the show aren't exclusive because they exist on PS2 and PSP.

You don't see Sony fanboys saying calling those two games for Sony Exclusive.

It's cool to hate things that are popular, truth is Gears of war is a damn good game in single player, Co-op and especially multiplayer. It has some of the best graphics and sound ever in a game, very solid controls, shooting mechanics and action sequences. There is nothing dated about Gears of war at all, so much so that Capcom are porting it's control scheme into RE5.

I could also list a lot of things that make Halo 3 very good but I can't be bothered, there will always be people jumping on the hate train for these good games, they sell 5+ million and score in the high 90% range, opinions on games like this don't mean ****, there will be sequels for years to come, and odds are they will be awesome.

I don't know why you are attacking what I said, I was just trying to point out how fanboy biased his original post was, I am looking forward to many of the PS3 games he listed, but I just felt that I should even the score a litle bit because he is obviously a cow.

I agree. While I haven't played the game since early "07"--it was purchased for me on the first day it was released and it was surprisingly addictive, in my opinion.

To the guy that like Counter Strike on the pc, then Socom would definitly fit your billing. Socom is the consoles version of counter strike, with more of a cod4 settings. Atleast when I played Counter strike it was more indoors.

P.S. Gears has great sound? you need to get out more often to the guy that stated that, aswell as all of its flaws and just being unpolished when released. But thats for another thread and time lol. I'll just let yall actuall 360 owners talk this one out :)

I never said I hated it, alot of you are quick to jump down someones throat. After going back and playing online it feels dated, hence the topic title. I never bashed the sp, Its one of the my favorite games this gen.

No it wont there is games I have not listed since they also came out on the ps3 already or came out at the same time. No systems have a better lineup then the other but Im more excited for the 360's holiday lineup over the ps3's

And I agree with him. A stellar game, and very addicting. Not only that, but the graphics hold up very well 2 years later. Looking forward to Gears of War 2, which seems to improve on pretty much every aspect.
