Well, that is definitely true. The same could be said for MGS4, FFXIII & GT5. I don't see any of these games saving the PS3 or winning the console war for them. It's all about the price and the quantity of quality titles that will eventually push one of the consoles far ahead of the others. That's the main reason the PS1 & PS2 won their generations. Both systems had loads of quality titles from many, many different developers and both systems were at the right price for consumers. Am I wrong?

mgs portable ops got a 9.0 released for the psp in 2006.

mgs2 sons of liberty scored a 9.6 for the ps2.

That means around 15,625,000 people had to see the movie on those two days (or in some cases 4 days). For Halo, only 2,125,000 people needed to buy the game, even when it achieves 170 million in sales (at an average of $80 per sale).
