Sure the Wii has the largest install base now, but im willing to bet anything that if you compared hours spent for playtime in the 3 consoles the Wii would come in last.. PS3 and 360 owners actually play their consoles, they dont buy them just because its the "Cool" thing to have

Mhm i also completely agree, i've been having a go on my friend's Wii over the past few days and honestly it's like being transported back to 2001 when the first generation of PS2 games were being released because the quality of the games is so horribly bad, Red Steel in particular looks like it could have been done on the PSone.

Imean sale wise. Sales exploeded its second year on the market.

Its pretty obvious it was because it had the appeal of all gamers, a good price point, good games. Its not like it magically started selling well. The PS3 is extremely pricy, doesn't have the appeal of casuals, mainly just hardcore, and it doesn't have the great line up the PS2 did. The average consumer isn't going to spend 500-600 dollars on a video game system. Thats why the Wii is selling so well.

Yeah that whole 7 million users and growing weakely compared to the whole 17 million users and still sold out
