its not like it is a contraverail score. Sequals always scores worse than the orginal at Gamespot during the same gen. Look at Halo 9.7 Halo 2 9.4. Anyway AAA is a very good scroe. Were people expecting it to be 9.6+ or something?
Seriously. The meltdown after Twilight Princess at least made sense. But them complaining over a 9.2 is beyond rediculous. I mean, to get AAA, for a sequel, from the reviewer who's given more 1's than any other reviewer... >_>
The gameplay should of changeded more like the review said not just better level design. Plus after playing tons of next gen titles it probably didn't impress as much as if it would of released a year ago.
I think cows are just fed up with the fact that gs treats them differently . We all know gow 2 desirved a 10 in graphics, but why it get a 9 ? I think thats the better point .

It's amazing that people complain about a score like that. The last one got a 9.3, and considering there aren't any huge changes to the game, it's an amazing accomplishment. Do people want GS to give every game in the 9.7s?

When a game like FFX which came out in 2001 and barely used any of the true power of the hardware scores a 10 in graphics, and GoWII, which uses every last transistor available, scores a 9... I am not really surprised that they are complaining.

Gee, maybe Gamespot should go back and re-rate the graphics scores of every single game just so they reflect the standards of today and keep an updating real time tally, then? Every game older than five years would get a 3 or below.
Games are rated to the standard of their time. Games like FFX, Okami, Tony Hawk, and many others had excellent graphics for the time they were released. That is why they were rated a ten. As a system ages, peoples' expectations are higher.

Seriously people use you're brain you really THINK WE WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT AAA? There is thread on here complaining about the 9 in graphics instead of it being a AAA sequal. Besides I don't mean to condemn all PS3 owners, just the ones that can't seem to get over the PS3 right now isn't worth it while the PS2 is still kicking ass.
Who the holy heck is fed up about an AAA score? Whether it's 9.9 or 9.0, it's still AAA. I don't give a carved crap, it's still AAA. And, even then, I'd still buy the game. It's God of War II, for Christmas' sake!

yep. This is one of the most pathetic and immature things I have ever seen. No, I say they can complain a bit about the 9.2 but complaining about that 9 in graphics is just too much. I hardly look at the separate scores and anyone with functional eyes can see that the game looks great even if the reviewer decide to place a 9 because of some tearing.
