[QUOTE="ish_gibbor"][QUOTE="dubvisions"][QUOTE="CwlHeddwyn"]10million units sold 2,000 posts in the my Xbox 360 broke thread- you do the math..Viviath
What an ignorant statement. Do you think that the only place people discuss their 360 breaking is on gamespot?
Every 360 owner I know personally has had to send their system in to MS. Some of them have done it multiple times. Yeah, MS replaces the unit, usually with a refurbished one. But why did they release the bad units in the first place?
It's great to have a warranty but not so great to have to use it, especially multiple times. It's like owning a Daewoo or KIA. That's right, Daewoo, KIA, and Xbox 360.
I have challanged anyone to show evidence that more than the allowed percent of units were defected. So far no one has given evidence that more than the allowed percent of units were defected. If you can show more then we can demand micosoft recall them or refund our money, and we can take them to court.
Every electronic has a certain percent of defetive units. It is the way electronics are. Is the xbox 360 any different? Can anyone show evidence more xbox 360 units broke per ration than sonys handycam? I think if over 10% or 15% of uniuts are faulty in an electronic they have to recall. I cannot remember the max %.
There is no such thing as "allowed" percentage. Its like saying "we designed this airbag to allow you to die 25% of the time." If my X360 breaks, it breaks and Im pissed off...I dont care about the 'allowed percentage'....actually there is by law. If more than the allowed percent of units are faulty they have to recall. If let's say only 5% of the systems are faulty there is no way there could be an actual lawsuit against microsoft. It is a fact every single electronic unit has a certain percent of units fail. I think it is always above 3% but I could be wrong on that.
