In case you can't tell, that was sarcasm. Sony has stolen two more big ideas- one from each of its rivals. They stole Microsoft's idea of having an 'elite' version of their system, and Nintendo's idea of packaging said system with a game! What do you think of this?

First of all bringing out modified versions of systems has been around for a very long time, the PS1 and PS2 had different version like the slimline and second of all M$ hasn't introduced anything new to the game industry so Sony cannot copy anything from them.

BTW in case you were wondering online in consoles has been around before the original xbox.

Except they only have 2 systems, not 3; and I didn't know Nintendo was the first to package a free game with their system.

Is it past your bed time?

.... really, are you dumb. If anything the elite copied of ps3 for being black, having a standard big sized hdd, and for having hdmi. The newer ps3 is just 20 gbs of more space. The whole packaged game thing has been in gamming for years. Hell both ofmy pc's came with games.

So, so far I've heard:

- Price drop is not enough

- People won't be able to tell the difference between 60Gb and 80Gb versions

- Price drop didn't help PSP so it won't help the PS3 by default

- Sony is teh copiar

- Sony is digging their own graves

Any other negative spins to this?

Actually Nintendo was the first to incorporate the "elite" version of a system with the original NES. In 1985 Nintendo released two versions, one was $249 and included a robot that played certain games with you, performing certain tasks on its own and a light gun and two games. The other version was $199 and did not come with the robot or light gun, but did include Super Mario Brothers.
