wow the ps3 is starting to sell

I had 3 people come in to where i work today and rent ps3 games, and i have to ask have you rented a ps3 game before, then they all said no I just bought one. Which is a rare thing, usually its the same handful of people that rent the ps3 games.

Plus I know 2 of my friends bought the 40gb PS3 not to long ago

I saw 2 people carrying around brand new PS3s at best buy

And i have also noticed some good ps3 advertising going on in Magazines and on TV

Could the ps3 be making a comeback? will the PS3 be the hot item this holiday season?

Who knows... I cant wait to play MGS4... the main reason i bought the damn thing

Maybe the price of something, affects the demand for it? Crazy I know, but let's keep our eyes open to see if it's true.

I think you're on to something with the price. Are you saying that a lower price increases demand, and therefore increases sales of the PS3?

I know lowering the price increases demand but I have just noticed this recently and it could be the return of Sony or just a surge... "Who knows..."

If he saw this happening at his game store/movie store and saw people buying ps3's at stores then it must be happening at other places as well. Due to the fact that I have no expenses and a job, I was able to splurge on some gaming things. My brother bought a Wii recently, so i bought a Wii game(Zelda). I also purchased an 80GB PS3 (MotorStorm included) and R&C. I have to say that I have been playing all these games and the only one I'm remotely disappointed with is Motorstorm. pielover666

motorstorm could have been awesome. If you like the rally car thing play dirt it is really cool

Yeah, the price dropped to $400 in the U.S. and will do the same thing in Nov in the U.S. The 80GB dropped to $499 about a week ago. Yes, PS3 are going to sell some because of the price drop. Xbox 360's bundle will be released this week. We'll see how that does.
