i know what ya mean, i also play crysis and games dont feel the same, but atleast gears has a cool science fiction look, and when i see it i compare it to the first gears not crysis :) but ya that last ppic of canals just surprised me so much. i love the upgrade .

Why do people keep saying this crap.. gears 1.5 , please explain how, with all the new maps,updated lighting physics,destructible buildings,weapon specific fatalities,new guns,enemies,bosses,all the new gametype modes"meat flag hellz ya" and an expanded campain from 6-8 hours, to 13-15 hours. Please stop acting like gears is anything less than a good sequal.

i think it has to do with the artstyle like the crazy lighting they use.

you are making an ass of yourself. this is not a game that jumped a gen this is running on the same exact hardware the first came on. the first game scored 9.6 and had very few problems.they've fixed the problems while making the game look alot better.just like gow and gow2 the same exact game but longer

mp1 and mp2 hell even mp3 all look and play the same yet you wanna hate on gears just because its popular.
