If the gameplay will actually look and play like this, we have a GOTY contender, IF the Online multiplayer plays like that.. THEN WE WILL HAVE GOTY!! Check out the vid and enjoy. Some of the footage is CGI but then switches to Gameplay footage, just watch the whole thing, its really quite amazing! and this is a PS3 exclusive game being made by Sony. I really like the look of the characters, characters are really cool looking and actually look like they fit the part (unlike a lot of games)
I think the part where he first jumps out of the car and you see the HUD is or could be gameplay, its very possible with today's consoles! You have to admit that its more believable for that to be gameplay than it is killzone
The thing about this game that was commented on was that it changed seamlessly from gameplay to some CGI and then back. It was on Electric Playground, I think.

Unfortunally I think he is. Quite honest the GOTY canidates is looking strong on all three consoles. (these are my opinion only) You have Mass effect, Resident Evil 5(if Capcom plays along come next year awards), MGS4, Bioshock, Mario Galaxy, Halo 3, and who knows what else.

It's quite obvious that its not gameplay. It's also quite obvious that the game won't play like that. If it does it will score terribly because you pretty much shoot and the character does everything else himself. With that being said it's very difficult to judge how the game will turn out at this point.

Its cgi.......you can tell by the way the guy runs to the shop and jumps through the window.........nobody runs like that with the redical on a player.....ussally
Also it was made in 2005 and the game still isnt out.....i doubt its game play
no i dont think it will win goty or be the best game on ps3. but it does look awesome. im sorry 8 days looks it will be alot of fun switching between gameplay and cgi looks awesome. i mean that concept looks cool, i dont see y it cant be done.
Once the two shooters reach the thugs, the gameplay really takes off. Players can duck and weave around the environment, using anything around then to gain cover while firing at the bad guys. There were plenty of move shown for each character, including the ability to slide across the hood for a running charge to bring action into closer quarters. One of the coolest aspects shown in the demo was when one hero leapt through the window of the nearby gas station -- the environment was a fully-rendered interior, complete with drinking glasses on the countertops to blast apart as players engage in firefights outside (as well as the gun battle shown with the baddie inside.) In the trailer, this sequence plays out with no pauses or change-over in the engine or action as you move between detailed in-door and outdoor areas, much like the breeching in Resident Evil 4 -- in fact, the trailer indicated here that this was gameplay, as an aiming reticule appeared on-screen several times then went away during the realtime cinematic of him crashing through the glass (while bullets continued to track, we don't know if this diving sequence is controllable or just a canned animation) and then the gun indicator then fading back in when the gameplay started back up. The game in some ways looks interesting, but the illogical nature of set event that occur all and once and precisely at the right moment feel wierd and less appealing. With that, it seem to me that is not really gameplay video, because it seems too lineur and fast for gameplay. So with the hud, I guessing its trying to show you quick expects the game, but not precisely to that in the video.
That looks faker than Micheal Jackson's noise and even if it were real, It looks, and seems to play, like every other brainless action game. It could be a decent game but GOTY? It's too early to talk about that especially when the REAL candidates for GOTY are already crowding up the year.

people should REALLY learn the difference between gameplay (THE TRUE INTERACTIVE PART) and animation. NONE of ths was gameplay. This post represents what is wrong with this forum. People posting stuff while they are not even able to tell the difference. Furthermore this trailer shows NOTHING that makes me think it will ever be Game of the year. What the Hell were you thinking? ou should try some quality games kid.
