WoW vs Runescape

I dont no wat u guys think but i think wow is way better than runescape infact alot of people think thtwow is betterbcse rune scape is such low quality and u hve to lvl so much stuff (even fire making and wood chopping if u can bleve that:roll: ) for crhist sake wow is way better because u can keep track of things way mor easier.

Runescape is more addictive, but WoW is the better game. I have a 120 on lamescape and a 70 on WoW.

I played runescape first and though it was awsome and that WoW would suck. I played wow and after 2 months I physically can't controll runescape. The game is balls.

I have lots of friends, and i am in a guild in WoW.

RS has NO guild/clan support, that=UBER FAILURE

The graphics are trash.

money to be one of the 3 game classes, someone kill the guy that thought of runes.

music is low quality.

its really fun when you start i was addicted to it and played a lot but then it started getting boring so i started notplaying for like a couple days then a couple weeks then i just stopped playing for 2 months then i started back up again for like a couple months then i quit and i havent played more than 5 mins since then.....its been like 4 mothhs and i dont plan on starting again......

so i wouldnt play any massive online watever games because they get you addicted and waste your time

the online is way more accesive than runescape.all of u probably think of the monthly fee withwowits not that much money its $15 every 60 DAYS plus so many of u have probly never played wow and still sying that runescape is better.Hyrule-master

What? Pretty much everyone in WoW groups on a regular basis on the way to 70. Hell, most people join a guild before even hitting level 20. Instances are a good way to get exp, gear and reputation with factions (through quests.) And you have to be in a guild to do end-game content.

I don't really like World of Warcraft (I played for a little while,) but Runescape is just plain garbage. There isn't even a comparison to be made..

get to at least 18 on alliance and do deadmines runs, once you hit 20 you'll be grouping a lot.

I'm on the 2nd highest server too, Aerie Peak.

Weird..maybe it's because you were on a low-population server.

I was on the server "Shattered Halls" a few months ago (gave Burning Crusade a try, made a Druid and Priest,) which is quite low population (probably still is,) but I never had any trouble finding a group even when I was just starting out on the server.

I didn't use auto-group much though, I mainly did "/who" for level ranges and whispered people, asking if they wanted to group for an instance. I've never found the automatic LFG system to be very reliable. I seem to constantly get stuck with people who don't know how to play thier class.

After a while you get to know people too, and I ended up grouping with alot of the same reliable folks over and over again. I wasn't even guilded until level 50 (despite tons of guild invites..I usually put off joining a guild til late game) yet I would constantly get invites to groups and send out invites myself.

The two games aren't really comparable. One, (World of Warcraft)is a retail game and the other (Runescape) is a free online game. With that being said, when I first began to play Runescape 4 years ago it was really fun. However, I've quit the game since around last summer because Runescape has been in a downwards spiral ever since Jagex began cranking out all the crappy updates. Anyway, to answer your question, the two games aren't really comparable. Try comparing World of Warcraft to Guild Wars. They're both retail games and they both are about the same graphically.

I just want to post a list I heard of why people don't like WoW. (Ones I agree with will be in bold, others are not my right tojudge.)

1.Once Burning Crusade came out, Tier 1/2/3 were out dated so people stop doing those raids and just power levels to 70 for the new ones, and it's going to happen again when Wrath of the Lich Kings come out because Tier 4,5, and 6 will be useless.

2.Getting put against twinks in battle grounds.

3.Being too easy to form a guild and you get many people spamming general chat about a new guild they have for everyone.

4.The amount of gold needed for a epic mount

5.Blizzard ending the RTS series with a MMO

6.Blizzard ruining the lore. (In some cases they had to, mages were the strongest people in the RTS and there were no female druids, but some people went into detail with stuff I didn't under stand but they were REALLY upset.)

7.The character models are ugly and creation is very limited, running and animations are boring.

8.The class abilities feel like downgraded Diablo characters.

There are hundreds of others (being it's a popular games, people will hate on it to be 'cool') but these are the most interesting. :)

but beside the point, WoW is a great game on any standards. Its better than guild wars, and they charge you $15 a month, because unlike guild wars, they actually update their game and they have to pay the developers to make new quests/gear/content for the game. so WoW is a good game, even compared to non MMOs, because it stays fun for a long time. oh, and i love your signature Nerkcon, i remember thinking the same thing when i saw the guy who had that in his sig. what was his name again?TreetarD93
