Whats going on here. AM i missing something?! I played the COD 4 beta for the 360 and thought it was the most engaging and amazing multiplayer experience i have ever had on a game! Frame rate is silky smooth, weapons and sound effects are amazing, Controls are great, the atmosphere is great and most of all the gameplay is extremely fun so far it has received a perfect 10 from OXM but yet today all i have heard is COD 4 Bashing big time!! I mean seriously whats the deal?! This game is NOTHING Like COD 2 or the other crap COD WW2 games, this game is fresh and great. SO whats the deal, why the COD 4 bashing lately?!?!

because people here just played the demo...and as it turns out.....the modern weapons dont exacly change the gameplay....

worst of all though...they enemy feels like a mob more so then an army....they simply lack organazation.

People have different opinions.

I played the beta. I thought it was fun, but nothing that new or amazing.

Meh it was a let down for me(the demo), quite frankly it was nothing too impressive.

They needed to do something new with the series and they fell short IMO, feels exactly like the other shooters.

beta multiplayer was quite good, but not anything really special.

single player demo = snore fest.

Shooting stuff gets old eventually. Changing the enemies accent from german to middle eastern/ russian doesn't change much. I have enever been into the realistic shooters but I did liek the demo.

That is generally what I feel also. The original poster should understand that its the demo that the bad reaction is coming from. The beta was great from what I heard but from playing the demo the game definitly doesnt live up to the hype.

My first problem is that the game feels so scripted. Where you allies go and everything that happens seems to happen when you hit point x and therefore the game does y and z.

Next the level felt to linear and the tatics of all the forces you fight is just to mass or rush you.

The demo may have been short and therefore hopefully it is not a full analysis of the full singleplayer game as if it does follow this path it will be quite dissapointing.
