[QUOTE="madsnakehhh"][QUOTE="ActionRemix"]You could cut ANYTHING in ANY direction. This includes the environment. It was amazing. They had live demos to show that it was real.ActionRemix
Yep...watermelons, YAY!!!
I'd pay for that tech demo.Ok...now you are just joking right???
[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="ActionRemix"]No More Heroes does not let you cut anything in any direction. No video game does. This game would have been different from every other game. Now it's a generic brawler.ActionRemixthen grab a sword and a stick and go cut stuff in your back yard. jesus, you have to me one of the biggest crybabies i've ever seen on this board.I can't slice people and buildings in half in real life and there would be serious repercussions if I could. then sucks to be you. it's not happening, and whining about it won't make it happen.
[QUOTE="Eponique"][QUOTE="ActionRemix"]You can't cut anything in any direction in Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed is closer to Revengeance. Combat is like a damn brawler.ActionRemixYou wanted "stealth hunter action". Did you really just want it for the sword gameplay? Yep...you have to be just messing around right?
[QUOTE="ActionRemix"]Yes, I would pay for that tech demo. I haven't anticipated a game this much since the start of the gen.TheGuardian03I see what you are saying if my most anticipated game was changed to something i don't like i'd like i'd probaply feel the same. but can't you at least give it a chance ? i mean its only a trailer with 6 seconds of gameplay. my most anticipated game this gen got f***ing cancelled (for good, no change in the formula, no reboot, nothing) and i didn't react that badly.

Megaman Legends 3.
I'll bet money on it.

you win one internet. After playing through Legends 2 earlier this year I was also pretty stoked for Legends 3.
I remember the chaos when it was announced it was cancelled. But I dare say the butt-hurtness of Rising far surpasses anything in recent memory as far as game development goes.

I think fans had a legitimate reason to complain about Legends 3's cancellation. Capcom has proven to be terrible this year, releasing several rereleases of fighting games and continuing to make rehashes while not attempting to actually push out a quality sequel.

the problem is that capcom said they would give the greenlight to the project if the demo did well. so if the demo sold poorly, it would be canned. fair enough.
but then they decide to cancel it before releasing said demo, blaming it on the lack of people following the devroom (which they never EVER brought up, most people found it by accident or word of mouth). in other words capcom broke their promise.
Look - most games this gen are just iterations of past games. MGSR2010 looked like the first game in a long time that dared to do something that had never been done before and looked absolutely awesome on top of that. Revengeance does nothing new. It's standard brawler gameplay intermixed with QTE - two things I can't stand in games. I wouldn't want to play MGS5 if it was a straight up COD clone and Rising is a straight up Devil May Cry clone. ActionRemix
Get this logic and reasoning out of SW now!

It's not doing revolutionary. MGR2010 was. MGR2010 was a flop and a disaster. Even ask Kojima Productions. Nothing revolutionary here.[QUOTE="chilly-chill"]I can`t take Raiden seriously at all. This game is gonna be trash. raiden was there in the 2010 version :/ also it's time you guys realize that the game you were hyped for was so bad they gave up on it.
I like new experiences. Why you prefer the same rebranded game over innovation is beyond my comprehension.ActionRemix
 You are a funny guy...new experiences in that E3 demo??? Please enlighten me, this should be fun.

I just don't want Raiden to sound like a super saiyan on steroids. And who cares if another dev revived the game it should have stayed canceled so it could die with dignity.

Agreed. What's even more upsetting is Kojima is one of the godfathers of innovation. Hell, he even made a damn GBA game that had a solar panel attached to the cartridge and required you to absorb real sunlight to use against enemies ingame. The original trailer looked fresh, and looked like it was actually introducing something new to the hack n' slash genre. Now we've got a DMC clone that resembles Vanquish.

I heard they upped the frame rate from 30 to 60fps.
Lots of stuff had to go me guess. Shame. The original footage looked so much better than the most recent trailer.

Raiden may cry, but your being a crybaby.
