No, this peice of **** isn't enough to run your games at 720P, you need a good CPU, Ram, HDD, and Windows XP or Vista.
I run CoD4 @ 1680x1050 ( 1050p) maxxed with 2xAA and 8xAF with over 60FPS with dips to 50, on my 8800GT, now How can consolites say that consoles can run Crysis( well maybe @ 480i)musclesergeEven with 480i consoles will still have a hard time with crysis due to the physics and scale of the levels

I guess developers are finally realizing that this generation is NOT the HD generation for consoles.mjarantilla
Thats probably more likely now seeing as alot of games are not natively in HD. They can be upscaled but they won't be native 720p and 1080p. Oh well it still looks good on my HDTV. I think consoles are still a generation off of doing true HD games.
 Ok...now on the DS it runs at 320x240 or something :P So 240p ftw!-CheeseEater-
Actually each of the DS's screens is 256x192, so the total resolution would be 256x384 (or 384x256, for games that play "sideways").

Forza 2 is true 720p.

Yes it is I think. But there are a good number of games that aren't. While there will be games that will be native 720p or even 1080p, there will be games that aren't native 720p and 1080p. Hopefully by the end of these consoles lifecycles they will have every game in at least native 720p.

Actually it gonna get worse as time goes on, soon enough current gen console graphics would be completely standard definition, little better than what the PS2 normal puts out, only upscaled to high def, which console sheep will apparently be perfectly fine with.
Meanwhile, Hermits are demanding their games to run well at 1900x1200 resolution
Funny how Monsters Inc. at 480p looks better than CRYSIS at 1920x1080 or any other PC video resolution your $500 video card can output.MrEpyx

You missed his point. Let's look at offline rendering - take a highly detailed scene, and put it through a high-quality renderer at 480p. It may take an hour or two to render a frame, but the results will look fantastic - way better than any real-time renderer, regardless of resolution.
Alternately, let's skip rendering and go right to film, transferred at 480p. It'll still look more lifelike than the output of any real-time renderer on the market, regardless of the rendered resolution.

you don't know what you are talking about
monster inc is a movie
crysis has : physics, tons of plants, A.I. ...
and right now, graphic cards can't run crysis at MAX graphics AND with anti-alliasing .... give time for nvidia and ati to release big nice and new cards

Would you like a medal? I can mail it in a box, or give you e-props.

Even at 600-640p, it's still a pretty big leap over past consoles. However, I personally think that console developers should drop polygons and texture detail before they dock the resolution--but maybe that's just me.OremLK
Disagree COMPLETELY.
Resolution is the LEAST important feature when determining visual quality. Ok, well, not the least important. Maybe second or third least important.
