wtf is up with Ubisoft?

Do they not talk to eachother or what? It's like they are all in the same company, but are completley different from each other. You got some guys hidden away pumping out 3 splinter cells a year, then you got Jade Raymond upstairs working on Assassin's Creed, you got some guys bashing the PS3, and at the same time other guys contradicting all of their statements.

When I see the Ubisoft logo when starting my games, I don't even know what to think any more.

Heh, Ubisoft definately doesn't top the charts of best devs out there. Lazy/crappy ports (I'm looking at you RE4 PC and half the Wii's launch line-up) hurts their reputation a lot.

lol, it depends on what console you have. Ubi pumps out amazing games for the 360. Looking at it's track record (from all gens) , it's one of the best developers out there.

My last hope with them goes with assasins creed, if it flops I am not touching a ubi soft game again unless they earn my money back.fistoflight

Yeah I know. It pisses me off that their realeasing splinter cell annually (splinter fan here). If they would take there time making their games, they would be much better. ElToRo_14

I haven't enjoyed a Splinter Cell since Chaos Theory--and Conviction looks very mediocre, in my opinion.

Far Cry was developed by Crytek and published by Ubisoft. But apparently Ubisoft was given the rights to the game and is thus making a sequel. All the while Crytek has moved on with Electronic Arts (EA) and are trying to get Crysis out the door.

The games they put out for 360 are very good, the PS3 has gotten some bad ports from Ubisoft recently but that will change and the wii gets nothing good from Ubisoft.

GRAW 2 and Rainbow Six Vegas for the 360 is the only good games they released (oh and the PS3 version, but when compared RSV is just made by lazy a$$ Ubisoft devs) in the past 2 years.. I still can't believe it took RSV to cost 20 bucks to get most/all the bugs outta the game and it took them almost a year to release the friggin map pack lol. Pure cr@p indeed.

Well thank god for companies like Epic and 2k games for actually caring about their audienc on all platforms.

Ubisoft didn't create FarCry. They are creating FarCry 2 though.

There is Ubisoft Shangahi, Montreal and I think Paris, and a HQ over in the Bay Area. (and maybe more, assuming France must have one at least)

So yes, they are split up among many studios.

Double Agent was alright. It wasn't the best though.

If only they got Michel Ancel making more games. They should give all those American Military games a rest, and start creating unique games again.

We need a new proper Rayman for this generation, and a Beyond Good & Evil sequel, or another new project of it's kind.

Panzer I just gotta Dreamcast for $20 recently. I'm also thinking about getting a Saturn for the same price but I'm not sure if it works. I gotta go check and see if it works.Blackbond

Games are really hard to come buy and are most likely expensive for it at this point and time. I'm gonna check it out and if it works I'm gonna buy it. Its only $20 after all. If I can locate games for it then so be it. But for $20 its a great bargin.

• Fatal Fury Mark of Wolves
• Street Fighter Alpha 3
• Last Blade 2
• KOF Dream Match

meanwhile, myself and millions others will continue to support their amazing work with series such as GRAW, RB6 and soon to be their next big online title Americas Army. I'm sure their really concerned about the gross minority deciding NOT to buy their games. :lol:
