i made this thread because, I am aware that due to past ps3 games not being up to hyping standard (lair, hs (too short)) ps3 owners have lost a bit of morale. And arent hypin this game up enough on sw. This is a ps3 exclusive that could own.i mean AA, cmon this game is AAA!

I'm with you TC, and I'm hyping SSBB AAA as well. It seems like people are scared to stand up for elite games lately. Isn't even Assassin's Creed hyped AA? Everyone playing it safe, and these are major titles
welp, I see some Cows setting themselves up for disappointement. I even though 9.0...then I found out how long this game is. I can't hype 9.0 without knowing more about the replay value.
meh GS will give it a 8.5 at best. personally i think it deserves about a 8. the game was just not that good. the voice acting was horrible. i mean seriously their planes crashing and he's all monotone...this is not good. what ever will i do. oh noes. the cover systems been done better, much better. and the graphics are meh. i was expecting to be blown away but nothing spectacular. the game is average at best

I'm hyping it AAA. Too many people are soo worried about another ps3 exclusive not meeting expectations, we can't get realistic hype anymore. I never felt R+C would get a 9, this one I will be shocked if it doesn't.

the bar is a bit high right now after Gears Of War online coop and Halo 3 online coop + multiplayer.
You've seen how COD4 barely made it with all the crazy options it offers.
So to be honest, uncharted is worthy of AAA hype, but don't get your hopes up, as the bar X360 games have set with the online options they offer is very high right now. And I don't know if uncharted could pass that bar (PS3 online offering is far behind atm).
im not just talking about gamespot, i am aware of the conspiracies circulating about gamespot being biased against ps3, im hyping it for all sites. I would comment on ign, but you need to pay for a membership :P lol
I hyped it AAA, because thats the quality of game i believe it is. I know damn well gamespot won't give it that, but hey, its not like their reviews have had a lot of credibility on anyconsole of late.
Fanboys can claim pwnage over me if they want (you might as well start now if you follow SW rules), but quite frankly, i don't care, ill be too busy playing on the PS3 to take the time see it.

I hype blazinpuertoroc's post AAA. He hit the nail on the head there. I have seen absolutely no rhyme or reason to gamespots reviews. They give games "acceptable" scores, then when a truely AAA worthy game comes along, do they give it AAA? no. Oh, well, thats fine, AA? nope, they bombed it with a 7.5. And while I know they are no longer the only ones to do so, they are still in the bottom 10% of reviews, most of the reivews were 9.0+.
So hyping a game on GS as AAA is a gamble, because it depends on if they assign a competent writer to the review, or someone like aaron thomas. So go ahead and keep throwing pathetic insults at the PS3 fans, (cause I know you will), but at least try to see things from the other side of the fence. That being said, I "officially" hyped Uncharted AAA. Though, this was litterally an hour or so before the R&CF review was released. lol.
I still think Uncharted will get AAA most everywhere else, but to EXPECT AAA on gamespot is like EXPECTING Mass Effect to get anything under 9.0 on GS. Cows complain when a good game gets a 7.5. Imagine if Mass Effect got a 7.5. The sad thing is, we all KNOW it won't. But who honestly expected R&CF to get that low of score? To me, that is a sign of some form of either biased, or at the very least, untalented writing. If you ask me, its probably a bit of the former. (NOT saying all of GS is biased, but it seems some of their writers are).
