The PS3 is the most capable and reliable Next Gen system. I mean it's obvious since MS added HDMI and a bigger HDD to compete with the PS3. And the Wii is so small and lacking in nearly every way that it is really just a simple gaming machine with motion controls.

It's all about games and price unfortinately. And when the PS3 competes well with the other 2 in these areas then the PS3 will sell very well. I think with a new 40gb $399 PS3 and a vastly building game library for PS3 that sales will pick up.

Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii are all members of this, the 7th generation of home consoles.

It has nothing to do, what-so-ever, with what the systems can do, but everything to do with the lineage of the system.

I just played Lair, and its not all that bad as most reviewer make it seem, its just kinda dull.

It was released after the last generation of consoles, so it is next gen. What is so hard to understand?

The 360 has far more impressive games anyway, so the PS3 can keep its fancy, expensive hardware and I'll enjoy the vastly superior games selection. You can shout "WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!" all you like, the fact is that if I had a PS3 right now it would be sitting in its box waiting for something worthwhile to come out.

$399 40gb with free online and a built-in BR movie player and a lot of really cool games this fall/winter is a pretty good reason to get one. But as far as you're concerned it could be $99 and have twice the great games as 360 and you'd still find something negative to say.

And what has the 360 got coming after Halo 3 that's so great and better than what the PS3's got coming?

and as for whats next? Masseffect, Ninja Gaiden2, Fable2, Alanwake, Lost oddesey, Too Human, Huxley, Halo Wars, Virtua fighter (WITH ONLINE, jealous i know) Banjo3, Splintercell conviction and all the best versions of Multiplats. and several other unannounced titles
