And it's 1380x1080p, which gives 1.49m pixels compared to 1.44m from 1600x900 which is 900p.
What are your thoughts?

Sure, that resolution war crap is used to show which system is more powerful than the other but really do people even notice the difference between 900p and 1080p?

The Xbox One version of first-person shooter Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare outputs at a resolution of at least 1360x1080 - Aka dynamic upscale to true 1080 - Scales from 1360x1080 to full 1080p depending on the situation.

I bought the game in Xbox One and can confirm that your eyes will not fall out, bleed or roll into the back of your head while playing COD AW upscaled to 1080p.
Just scoot back in your seat a little and you will be fine.
My thoughts are this console is weaksauce, but I still love it.
And that's what matter chiken.
You Shirley.... didn't call him chicken. :P
wow 1080p in the xbone........sort of....................not really.
Honestly, i think lemms should just give up. The xb1 can't do 1080p on cross gen games like SoM and COD AW.
It's obvious it ain't doing it on The Witcher 3 and the like. Outside of some types of games, and xbox exclusives, it's not happening. Mostly.
Atleast not for now. Eventually, devs will improve with the hardware manipulation, on both consoles, and 1080p will become standart for both. And that's fine anyway.

Better than you calling him Shirley lol

Yepperz, I was waiting for his reply saying, don't call me Shirley. :P

I ruined it!
@chikenfriedrice:
Nah, I think he got it but didn't want to play along with the SP..... " SP runs away crying " :P
xbone can't even do 1080p for a Call of Duty game. lol
dynamic resolution, lol what a joke.
Dedicated servers though so better online. When they say dynamic scaled do they mean it runs at 1080p and reduces in spots where the frame rates would normally drop? If so, on the fly, that's impressive actually.
@StormyJoe: you can tell the difference but it's nothing to scream about. But it is noticeable for sure in a side by side or if you switch between the two.

More than 10" away, the human eye really can't tell 1080p from 720p, so you are going to sit there and tell me there is a noticeable difference between 900p and 1080p? Again, I could see if you were talking about sitting at a PC. But at TV at normal viewing difference?
I will concede that if you had the side by side, paused both games, and stared at the screens for a while, you might be able to tell the difference somewhere. But, during actually playing a game? Not so much.

Worked last year, works this year, will work next year and the year after haha

I think they both have servers, like ghosts. Otherwise, they'd have to write different netcode for different versions.
Wipeout ps3 was the first game I heard of with the dynamic resolution so they could maintain 60fps. That was a fast racing game though so it was hard to really notice. Dunno how that would work on a FPS. I'm not buying the game so I won't get a peak at it, but seems interesting.
