The only thing that disappoints me about the $299 Elite package, is the fact that it won't include an HDMI cable, or at the very least, the component cables (That come with the Pro). M$ has now gone the way of Sony by only including the standard def. AV cables with their consoles. :|

my xbox360 20gb i paid 399$ came with wireless controller/mic/componet cables/ethernet and batteries for the wireless controller. lol i bought wired controller though i like the feel of wired better.

lol all the consoles have missing parts. wii lacks a component cable, while not mandatory is the best cable for hdtvs, headset, no rechargeable battery pack, and an ethernet port 360 lacks wifi and a rechargeable battery pack. ps3 lacks a ethernet cable, headset and no hd cable at all hdmi or component. copied my response from the other failure of a thread about the ps3.
I don't think its even a real elite, if any one noticed that the link to the pic also says "limited quantaties" theni its probably just a special black "elite"ish 360 for discount.

You do realize that all that information is UNconfirmed that this point, right? Just like the PS3 slim was suppose to ship with 100% BC. We'll have to wait and see for Microsoft to offically announce anything. Heck they haven't even announced a $299 elite.

Heck we don't even know which SKU that is supposed to be pictured as since it doesn't have the elite tag. These companies do get some things wrong sometimes. My local Gamespot told the Jasper 360's were coming in August. They didn't arrive until October. I'm not saying the $299 elite doesn't exist.
