X360 or PS3 : Which console is the king of RPG? (so far)

was wondering (after having two similiar polls regarding FPS & Racing) as to which of those two consoles is considered the king of RPG.

You'd have to be crazy to say anything other than 360.

i voted for ps3 ,my reason i dont like wrpgs,and in the jrpg department nothing compares to valkyria chronicles and demons soul(yes i have it impored and its awesome)

360 is king of RPG, Racing, Shooters, Puzzle, Shoot 'em ups, Beat 'em ups

PS3 is King of Action, Adventure, Sports, Fighting (even though same fighters are on both, ps3 wins for the d-pad)

Wii is king of Platformers

The Psp is clearly the overall RPG King of this gen, Lets not even get started with Line ups... Valkyria Chronicles 2. Psp Exclusive.TheOldOlder

While Chrono Trigger has 92%

TWEWY has 87%

Mario and Luigi has 85%

FFIV has 85%

Pokemon D & P and SMT: Devil Survivor have 84%

and DQV has 84%....

The DS wins this gen without a doubt.

neither tbh if u asked me which console has more RPG that suck i would say x360. so far have been very disappointed

360 has the widest RPG library available in next-gen consoles, of course a lot of it is the 1 year headstart.

Still, 360 will most likely remain king of RPG's for this gen, PS3 won't be far behind with titles like Demon's Souls and Valkyria chronicles, (both of which have intrigued me the most from anything else the PS3 has to offer this year).

Where are all the PS2 JRPGs like shin megami tensei, Suikoden, Tales of _______, Starocean, Dragon Quest everywhere but PS3 thats where. The PS3 sucks this gen for JRPGs.

360 but the clear winner of the RPG this gen is the DS, with the PSP in second.

well 360 easily, i can't say i've really liked an RPG on PS3 yet (though VC and others are good)

But in the back of my mind i keep thinking where 360, Wii, PS3 RPGs, SRPGs, Action RPGs could be if the handheld market wasn't getting all of the good RPGs

Persona 5 is not confirmed for anything, you've heard a rumor

Its more likely it could be on PS2, PSP, or DS honestly.

360 at the moment.

Though that game demon souls looks interesting. I hope it gets released in Europe.

which JRPGs does it have that are out?

is the ToV port out? Eternal sonata? does folklore count? I haven't really played any JRPG on m PS3 that wasn't on 360. i guess Valkyrie and Disgaea but i wouldn't say its better overall with JRPGs.

additinally, i really loved folklore, i'd really like a sequel.

point is that it is not there now is it? 360 got it almost a year earlier. TBH though IDC I dont even really like playing RPG's on the console, my portable systems have always been my main area for RPG gameplay, (this gen I particularly use the DS for my RPG's, but My PSP still has quite a few I play on it.)

360 easily which is a complete turnaround from last gen
