X360 vs PS3: What would you like MS & SONY to avoid in their upcoming platfo

Both X360 & PS3 have their share of shortcomings and also advantages.

But what are the major shortcomings in today's X360 & PS3 that you believe SONY & MS should address in their upcoming platforms?

Microsoft should focus more on new first party IP's.
Test their hardware more before releasing it.
Stop charging for online like complete tossers.

Sony should learn to design their hardware architecture better.
Stop releasing such expensive systems.
Better marketing.

Xbox:

I would like a low console failure rate and stop nickel and diming custmoers on everything. Also get more variety in your exclusive line up and make XBL have FREE multiplayer, there is no reason to continue this rip off next gen especially since PSN does EVERYTHING XBL does but for FREE (besides cross chat) and that is due to a RAM issue.

Next gen the PS4 will probably have more RAM and that means cross game chat and parites but for FREE! Oh and get Blu Ray please! This is 2012, not 1997, there is no reason to have DVD's and multi disc games anymore. It's just embarrissing. And get rid of MS points. Though I'm not interested in buying the next Xbox anyway so my points are probably moot.

Playstation:

No over priced system next gen please! Also get better with your system updates, and a new store layout would be nice. Make sure your network is more secure and don't be so cocky next gen like you were early this gen.

Also make your system easier for devs, most of the time this doesn't matter as most multiplatform games look the same, but it would still be nice to make it easier for some of them. Oh and please make sure that it has cross features with Vita.

sony needs a better online service. psn is awful. if they can make it more user friendly and less annoying and keep it free im in. also, instead of focusing on 20 different mediocre exclusives they should only do like 5 really good ones. microsoft needs a few more big name franchises. halo, gears and forza are cool but another 2-3 would be nice. also more spinoffs of those franchises. i loved halo wars and another halo rts or different type of games in those universes would be awesome. also the on demand games need to be waaaaaaaay cheaper. i want to download so many but they're usually $20 at least for games i can get for like $10 in a box. makes no sense. and get rid of avatarsor make them coolmems_1224

I think Kinect is just right now, I think MS is making new exclusives for the next Xbox. I expect Halo 4 to be the last exclusive on the 360, after that MS will launch the next Xbox and you'll see all the exclusive games they had for that. So all these people are all "teh 360 haz no gamez" will eat their words.

Just because you don't like PS3 exclusives doesn't mean they are mediocre. IMO I enjoy alot of the PS3 exclusives (certainly not all), to me Uncharted and Little Big Planet and Killzone are better then any other game I ever played 360. That doesn't make the 360 exclusives bad or mediocre, they simply don't interest me very much.

And I think if you spent more time with PSN you would like it.

I would like the next MS platform to avoid RROD. And I would like the next Sony platform to avoid releasing so many killer exclusives....heh...just kidding on that last one. :cool:ispeakfact

No I have a PC, which adds features through out the generation, has better and more varied exclusives and massively superior multiplats. I'd ask if you've finished skyrim but you probably can't play it on the PS3 without meds :lol: But when you've no real response you can ask if i'm jelly and then cry inside tears and eat a donut I guess if it makes you feel better!blue_hazy_basic

Finished Skyrim a month ago. Put over 100 hours in and got all the trophies. But, put even more time into the superior

A little gem that pc gamers won't experience. Sorry, but higher standards here. :cool:
