SMG and MP3 are easily two of my favorite games this gen. Zelda also if you count it as a current gen game. All of those games are much longer than your average sp game and deliver quality from start to finish. The problem is, for me at least, that outside of those titles the Wii just doesnt seem to have anything else going for it imo.
The 360 definitely hosts a far better library at least in terms of quantity and you can expect them to keep delivering. I guess it depends on what you like, but I couldnt see myself only owning a Wii.
wouldn't buy a X-Box 360 arcade get the X-Box 360 Elite... How many games are you going to be buying over the next 6 months?bf2nutta
I'll Buy few, I'll get all the ones I really want in the first month or so, then just whenever I see something I want.
Oh and btw, What is the difference between X360 Pro and Elite?

check this link.... http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/compare101.htm Depends are you wanting to play Wii Ware and VC titles? If not stick with the 360 elite(bigger hard drive) and save up for a Wii....Use the Sony credit card discount and get the PS3 for $280 If you HAD to choose between these two, id get neither. The arcade is a gimped console, and you should get the pro if you actually want a 360signore
I agree go with PS3! I have all the systems and really the PS3 is the most interesting to me.
No look you gotta look at it like this. WHo are you going to be playing your video games with? If you are going to be playing your video games with your family, friends, housemates, frat boys, girlfriend, anyone who you see. Get a Wii. If you are going to be playing online against your interstate friends, random online stooges, Gamespot community losers, get an Xbox 360. These arguments over which game has a better one player library are pretty stupid. For every Gears of War or Fallout 3, there's Super Mario Galaxy or Okami. For every Braid and Prince of Persia Classic there's World of Goo and Super Metroid. You're going to have fun and get good value for money regardless of what system you buy but the real difference comes down to multiplayer. Offline or Online.RABicle
OMG
I think you just won system wars!
Now what do I do?
Xbox 360 has a great game library and the Wii has a terrible game library. Buy Xbox, you won't regret it.Ultimate-PlayaThe Wii's Library isn't what's terrible, its all the crap shovel ware that over shadows its good games. There are countless GREAT games for the Wii, and more than 1/2 of them don't cost $59 some dollars for a game!

Until it actually breaks down on you:lol:
Seriously though i'm a new X360 owner myself, and you will want more than the games you mentioned as we always do. And looks like the ones you listed for the Wii are the only good ones there with maybe a few more. The 360 has a good library of games and can easily find a lot more to try out from your original pick, unless you can't be bothered getting the 360 sent back to be fixed multiple of times from what i heard from others. I only had my X360 for a month so can't really confirm from my own experience.
I need help, I dont know what console to get! They are both the same price, and I just can't decide. I'm A big fan of nintendo game, and I wanna play SSBB, SMG, MP:Corruption, Zelda TP, and all the other great titles but I am also dying to play Gears Of War, Halo 3 and GTA IV. I CAN buy both but with the little money I get It'll take a while to get the money for it, Especially since I'll be buying games for the one I do Buy at the same time!!zlarg32unlike the flamers i will give you what i feel is the truth. if you dont have a good pc it maybe in your best interest to get the 360 unless you really love nintendo games. i know i do and have had a blast with the wii and the wii has by far the best downloadable content, but it still falls to second place to my PC edit: and if money is a big issue than the wii maybe the way to go its games, at least to me, have had a great deal more replay value in single player
It boils down to how much time you have to spend playng games.
I have job, family, etc. Maybe an hour a day if I am lucky for games. The Wii fits my schedule perfectly because for me its pure fun.
Now, if I had more time like I did in school, I would get a 360 first then a Wii.

Is HD important? Is online play important? Will I use my console to play DVD's? Is motion sensing important to me? Your answers to these questions should point you in the right direction. I own all 3 consoles, and personally the 360 is by far my favortie due to its game library and online component.
Elite plugs into HDTVs better. I wouldn't bother unless your TV is bigger than your room. Also It is black.RABicleBeyond the fact they both have the same connection options, you're sorta right.. the Elite comes with a HDMI cable(doesn't it?) while the Pro comes with a component cable. HDMI cables don't cost overly large amounts of money however.
For every Gears of War or Fallout 3, there's Super Mario Galaxy or Okami. For every Braid and Prince of Persia Classic there's World of Goo and Super Metroid..RABicle
No, there isn't.
The major complaint is the Wii has far, far, far fewer quality games than the 360 (because it does.) There isn't a Galaxy for every Gears, that's the problem. The Wii has far fewer great games.
And listing stuff like Super Metroid is like listing the original Halo for the 360. Super Metroid isn't a Wii game.

Far fewer great reviewed games. What number score someone gives a game has no bearing on whether or not I believe it to be a great game.Wii can't play games like Final Fantasy 13 or Prince of Persia. Also, I think you'll have a funner time playing GTA 4 than anything no Wii. I used to be a hardcore Nintendo fan but I've converted and have not regret it. Much more mature games for my liking.Wiishyugh gta 4 sucked and i loved sanandrais?sp? it all comes down to taste in games

Far fewer great reviewed games. What number score someone gives a game has no bearing on whether or not I believe it to be a great game.LOL, OK - good for you. So I guess in my opinion I'm also making the poorly reviewed 360 games "Great." So I guess the 360 has actual great games and great imaginary games, whereas the Wii only has as many great games in your imaginary fantasy world.
There is no accounting for taste, but when a game is universally reviewed to be mediocre to say that doesn't indicate something is absolutely asinine.

Who said anything about imaginary games? True the Wii does have many poor games, but to say it doesn't have many great games is just ignorant.
Besides, a lot of people bash on Wii Play(yes I'm using this as an example), it got a 5.4 here on GameSpot, Do you think that 5.4 makes an ounce of matter to me or my GF when we are playing it, having a wonderful time together while playing it? Don't think so, she loves the game. Wii Sports got what, a 7.4(7.5?) here, you think that matters to the over 3 million who's bought it in Japan? Don't think so, they apparently believe its a great game(as do I).
Two not so greatly reviewed games that plenty of people(me amongst them) believe is a great game. A great game being one, not always scoring great, but one you can have fun playing. Isn't that what gaming is supposed to be about? Having Fun?

Madworld looks very mature.
Xbox 360 offers much more great games than Wii right now, also a better online experience.
Get Xbox now Wii later, Wii's going to be a lot better next year so just wait til then to get it.

That just has to be the best thing on System Wars I've ever heard. Someone making sense :D!!!

I said it looked cool, but hyped it? No... I've no intentions of getting Mad World, I personally prefer platformers(which is why I hype Mushroom Men and de Blob).
