But even after Microsoft allowed the press to explore a new area last week, much of its details are still shrouded in mystery. In very rare moments, failure can be fun. Screamride managed to make one of the most penalizing moments in a game not a burden, but a chance for awesome destruction. So instead of trying to complete the difficult time bonus challenges in Screamrider mode, I looked for opportune moments where I could derail my exploding car and crash into buildings.

State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition

Microsoft and Undead Labs have announced that State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition will be available via disc or download on April 28 for $29.99. Those who own State of Decay for Xbox 360 will receive a 33% discount, making Year One Survival Edition $19.99 for them. Existing State of Decay owners also get an exclusive playable character.

I saw a thread about these three games this morning...We certainly don't need two identical threads.

So, March for a delayed 360 game, a PC port and a two year old 360 port.

No games.

Seriously, if the game delivers, it could be just the kinda game I need, a real change of pace from the usual stuff I've been playing lately, fingers crossed.

I'm excited for all of these. These will hold me over just fine while I let the megatons simmer a bit longer.

@FoxbatAlpha: Same here, these fit perfectly in my current gaming diet. I was hoping they might take this opportunity to add co-op to State of Decay, but alas it doesn't look like it's ever going to happen based on this IGN interview. It's all good though because the game was so brilliant on its own on the 360, I only finished it once but there's a lot I didn't get to do so will definitely double dip on release.
