While the concept of 'game trials' is novel and all, I'd much rather download a demo than a 6-8 GB file that I can only play for 60 minutes.AcidSoldner
Indeed, especially with the horrible download speeds on PSN. I've had PSN+ for over a year now and i've never found it worthwhile to try out one of the "free" trials.
so...take about 3-6 hours to download a full game trial...play the tutorial...so 5-10 minutes of actually playing the game?
XBLA games have trials though? I'm a bit confused...Stevo_the_gamer
I believe he talking about with some games you are able to download the full title, try it out for +60 minutes, and after that time you can decide whether or not you want to buy.
EX. I download say inFAMOUS, then I play the game (with no restrictions) for 60 minutes. After that time is up, I can decide to either buy it, or leave the game and delete.

PSN doesn't have demos? Where's the xbox demo 4 MK?That's ok I'll take a demo of a new game over a trial of a two year old game any day.

Sure PSN has demos, but that's not what the thread was talking about. It's talking about paying $59 a year for the privilege of having a 60 minute trial of a two year old game that most people already own.
I couldn't tell you about the XBL MK demo since I would rather have bamboo shoved under my nails than play a fighting game any day. Are you trying to claim ownage since PSN has MK up earlier than XBL?

Ya I would mention to him all the things XBL got before PSN and such but id prob be modded for stretching the page so much.

I'll also take my "every Arcade/Indie game comes with a trial version" :)
I think I missed something here... since when are Arcade trials and game demos not free on XBL? foxhound_fox
