The only games that are messing up are the ones with matchmaking (H3, COD4). RSV works fine for me

That's what I keep thinking, they are paying for a service that hasn't been working correctly for almost two weeks now. How long does it take seriously?? Obviously MS has the money.

I have a PS3 and I'm currently playing Unreal Tournament online, Rainbow 6: Vegas online, Warhawk online and Call of Duty 4 online. All great games. You should check them out. I also play Eye of Judgement and PSN Poker online, just not as much.

Bytching about this just makes people look like they have no connection to reality.

They added a pile of new subscriptions over the holidays and at the moment it's effed up too bad. My XBL has been fine but even if I try to play today and it is messed up I will use that as an excuse to go play some Warhawk or something. I need an excuse anyway since I haven't logged in there in a few months.

So it looks like you are playing Vegas and COD as well. The same games I do, except I don't have to pay to play them online. And sorry to tell you Warhawk isn't a rental game. You will never learn it during a rental period. UT3 is pretty similiar to the other Unreal games, but it's still a ton of fun and you are missing out if you are unreal fan, and it plays fantastic on PS3.

And no. Just because there are problems with COD4 does not mean "xbox live is down AGAIN!" Xbox live is fine. I've been playing halo 3 and PGR4 on and off all day. It was a boatload of crap over the holidays, but everything is up and running as is right now.

COD4 has had problems since launch. Remember that period of about a week when nobody could get a game? So again; wrong. Quit the whining about xbox live.

I deceided to turn on the POS for the 1st timei n 2 months again last night, couldnt log in to my gamercard.

I can today, wanted to try the burnout demo ... BUT OH NOES "Marketplace is empty".

So the games appear now 2 hours later ... I press on Burnout "Error retreiving data please try again later" ...

.... good job my Gold as run out, I would feel like a fool paying anything to such a bad service.... but then agian I have to because of friends ... you see folks, thats Microsoft at its finest... and you all think its ok :lol:

And please listen to reason; it IS an issue wtih COD4 as live is working just fine right now. Even the PS3 version of COD4 isn't working well right now. I can go and play Halo 3, PGR4, anything i like on live right now. Only COD4 is having any major issues.

For whatever reason they decided to release a build which is four months old. So naturally it's not graphically impressive, it's glitchy and buggy and the awesome sense of speed that you get with burnout isn't there because they only give you one, incredibly slow car.

People pay over 50$ a year for cabel sometimes it goes out, coming on system wars to whine is not going to help any.

Xbox live isn't down for me, but it is slow.

I'll tell you the same thing everybody else has; it sucks that you're having problems, but xbox live isn't down. Your thread therefore, is wrong. Currently, xbox live is up and running just fine as far as playing games goes. I know the marketplace has been slow, but other than that, no problems with the exception of COD4 which is having issues on all platforms.

So yes. You are wrong. Xbox live is not down. Your whining is aimed in the wrong direction.
