Remember those awesome demos that Gold subscribers get early access to? Yeah, you have to wait 14 more days than the free online service.

They should want to get the 360 base more, as they have nothing to compete with in the genre over there. Then again, since they have nothing to compete with, maybe they just expect it to sell because of that fact.

Yeah, thought that was a little funny. Though in all fairness, I'm sure it's because they want to spark interest for Dante's Inferno for Playstation 3 owners due to God of War III coming out around that time as well. Not saying either or is better than the other but it's going to be hard to convince some to buy one over the other.

im kinda 50/50 on this game. its one of those games that could be really awesome and unique, or it could just be a cookie cutter clone so we'll see.

But why hold off the 360 version? If EA is concerned about GoW 3 cannibalizing sales (and I'm sure they are) they would want as much buzz surrounding Dante's Inferno as possible -- regardless of platform.

I'd assume this means the PS3 is the lead platform, and the extra time is to port/polish the 360 version of the demo.

Well, many consider me to be a "360 fanboy" and I care a whole lot. This game will be awesome and even though I'll most likely get it on 360, I'll jump at the chance to get the demo for free on PS3. Damn Gold subscription. Getting more worthless by the day, I tell ya.

I think MS is making alot of people into sad pandas. So that will be1 exclusive (Bad Company 2 beta) and 1 timed (demo) on ps3 in less then a month.

None the less, I'm going to down load it on both... So I can decide which version to get in the end.
