XBL has too many idiots

Before this gen i was mainly a pc gamer. Went online for loads of games (battlefield series,counterstrike,cod series, half life series etc) and for the most part they were mostly mature. There would sometimes be inmature ppl but for the most part the admin would kick them immediatly and if they came back they would be banned. So this gen i decided to take my console online for the first time with xbox 360 and i find atleast a couple ppl per match there r always inmature ppl yelling out:

1. racist things

2. screaming

sure the xbox 360 has loads of great games butthis ruins the xp alot y does xbl have so many idiots? maybe mircosoft should implement mature servers or sumthing. wut does everyone else think?

Boy, it sure is a shame that we can't keep people from saying things that offend us... if only we could magically only hear what we want to hear...

Exactly. There is nothing that can prevent you from coming across someone offensive. At least it's easy to mute them and avoid playing with them ever again.

You're gonna have to get used to stupid people, mute them, or report them. Luckily, XBL gives you those options.

You do realize that PC games consist of more than just FPS's? First of all FPS's have the least amount of communication from what I have noticed. Most communication outside of friend's is just simple internet terms such as "gg". Your very limited experience in PC games is very evident. I have run into more idiots in PC games than on XBL. WoW crushes XBL as the most retarded community you will ever stumble into. Everquest, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, and yes even XBL. The point is that the world is full of stupid people and if you give a stupid person a microphone and anonymity they will abuse it.

You need to develop a large friends list of people you enjoy playing games with, or party up with people you liked playing with during a match.

Hardly difficult.

It's not like everyone playing PC gaming online is a Saint, please. The world is full of A-Holes. Live has them, online PC gaming has them - they're everywhere.

i play online with my PS3 and i rarely hear anyone even speak.

I always feel likeI am in some famous solon when it comes to Xbox Live. Lots of great people out there.

Your theory makes no sense.

There's ways to take care of it, if you don't like to take advantage of the tools that the developer has given you, that's your own fault truly.

It is annoying, and yes it does ruin the experience too. however you have the ability to take action against it too. Personally, during my Halo 3 spree, I've not found many immature arrogant people in most of my matches. So who knows... but I always leave the lobby after I finish a match.

you fail majorly. nice try, though. but, it is true though that PSN is probably just as bad as Live. ive been playing online with extremely racist and crude people as well.
