Some people think the world is going to end in 2012.
If there's a price jump that severe they'll probably lose many of the casual multiplayer gamers they've built up. They'll also lose more serious gamers who are poor, like me.
I won't pay for gold anymore unless the service is improved somehow warranting an increase. I really only play Horde, L4D, and Firefight when it comes to MP any more any way.

No way MS would jack it that much at once. Not that MS might not like to, but it would take a weakness of their system compared to the other platforms and compound it.
IF MS were to try to continue to force paid multiplayer online (and personally, I think it's a matter of time before that drops to Silver) AND they were to raise the price, they'd do so by much smaller amounts, say 10 bucks a year. And for that to fly, there would have to be some pretty universally drooled over new features along with it. Twitter integration need not apply :lol:
I don't think Microsoft would be dumb enough to make such a move. It's successful right now where changing the fee would be suicide. It's a comfortable fee and since there's a few million people, I'm sure Microsoft is sitting on a pretty comfortable nest right now.

but you can't prefer your ps3 over your 360 and be called a valid poster even though you admittedly acknowledge that the 360 is a good console

Oh, and on a further note, I would like to the TC to reword his topic title, as it's a bit misleading. I always read the content in t he first post, but even then, I was getting ready to rage before I entered the title. I'm in a easily aggrevated state right now. :P
