XBLA getting a POTENTIAL unknown gem?

August 26, 2009 - Two E3s ago a promising puzzle game called The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom was shown as part of the Indie Showcase. Many of us guessed it would wind up on Xbox Live Arcade, and it took a while but 2K Games has announced they will be publishing the game early next year.

Winterbottom is so obsessed with pie he'll even shatter the space/time continuum to get to it. He can record his actions and produce copies of himself, then interact with the clones in order to reach the holy pastries. When it was shown at E3 2007, many of us drew comparisons to Braid. The art uses the aesthetic of silent films, and Winterbottom himself is a proper old-timey gentleman.

I like the artwork and style of the game. I guess i'll need to hear more about it.

I remember hearing about this game two years ago. I remember being pumped to get my hands on it.

But now, it sounds strikingly similar to Echochrono and Clank's gameplay in Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time.

Yeah I definitely remember seeing this on xplay when they covered PAX or something few years back..
