XBLive is worth every penny PSN Plus isn't

except you can party chat on psn now and you don't even have to pay for that feature.

the only feature you have to pay for on psn is SOME MP games (f2p and mmos are currently not part of this paywall) and in return you get access to several games each month.

and you might as well call them free. yes, you stop having access to them if you stop paying, but if you start paying again, they are still there. and the games are actually relevant (instead of 2 games I can buy for less than $10, they offer games that still sell in retail $25+ individually.

Being a long time Xbox fan who just sold his Xbox 360 n is new using a ps3, vita, ps4 with ps plus, I have to say I have wasted my time on Xbox Live. The ps plus offer is just too good for any real gamer to turn away from. That's what made me a convert. The ps4's stronger hardware and smaller design was just icing on the cake. I usually don't do fanboyism, but saying Sony's ps plus smacks down Xbox live currently is a huge understatement.

So basically, PSN sucks and XBL is superior. We all know this.

That's a very powerful testament as you've been here since 2006 and you've posted your setup long ago where you had a bunch of 360 games, fighting sticks, and a 360...I say this because there fake new alt accounts that post about their conversion day to day.

I wonder what the suits at Xbox did or did wrong to lose your very long time loyalty? Your case is unusual as long time supporters usually just stick to the same thing as they have tenure and a strong emotional connection to their gamertag and history, etc. They read about PS+ or Wii U or PC and they simply don't care.

I also have a very strong attachment to my Xbox Live accounts/gamertags, but I do agree, they aren't as valuable to me as they once were...it's made more evident when you have the competing machines and you subscribe to their services to compare. I ran from PS+ for a long time, I simply didn't want another subscription service to deal with on top of my permanent Xbox LIve Gold Status. Somehow you broke the mold.

Both services are a cash grab and complete BS, especially when the PC has free multiplayer for the same games, It almost warrants me of going through the hassle and headache of getting those games for the PC instead, almost but not quite. But at least Sony doesn't charge you for MMOs some of which you have to pay for monthly. Well at least not yet....................................
