XBOX 360; 09 better than 07? (56K Warning)

Back in 07 the 360 had arguably it's best year yet and when you compare those big titles with the ones coming out this year...the lineup is eerily similar to one another.
Let's take a look back, and a look into the future...

As you can see a lot of great titles that were released back in 07 are getting sequels in 09. Now I know a lot of these titles are multiplats but that doesn't change the fact that the 360 looks to match 07 and maybe even surpass it by the end of the year.

No, the 360's 09 is no way near its 07. Its not even near its 08 (Gears 2, ToV, Banjo, Braid, GW2, Fable 2, Viva Pinata 2).

meh, most those im interested in are multiplats. Im looking forward to Spring 2010 more though

Whens SC: Conviction coming out as well? I thought it was Fall 09'.

That isn't exactly the full picture.

Mass Effect was broken imo so no probs for me. Didn't really care for the Orange box either

Brutal Legend will surpass all those flops and rehashes. Flopza 3 won't touch God Turismo 5.

Twoyears is pretty much the basic time interval for a decent sequel, so it's no surprise.It does show what a great year 2007 was.Hopefully the sequels surpass their predecessors. It sure looks that way.

But I think 2010 is going to be great.This holiday though, is going to hard on my pockets.

Each time i see some ODST pics/videos i just can't believe how BS graphics and physics are wtf Bungie? upgrade yes possible one day? but why wasting time/money to build a new engine when millions of ppl will buy it with it Halo 2 sub HD graphics...coming from some1 who own all halo games,this is just sad and no the only year that will pwn 07 is 2010

I cant' see too much in terms of exclusives coming this year, so I don't really see this year as being exceptional for me in terms of what the Xbox 360 is offering. As a guy who owns all the consoles and a PC, I tend to consider the value of a console by it's exclusives since if a game is multi-plat I would be able to play it anyways even if I didn't have that particular platform.

It's gonna be a good year, but no where near the scope of 07.

I think 2010 will be better with Halo: Reach, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, and hopefully a Rare game.

07 IMO was better because everything was new and the hype buildup for Halo 3 was too intense for life (I'm gonna get flamed for that). 09 we get sequels but we kinda know what to expect it's not as exciting. 2010 actually looks better in general for both 360 and PS3.

From what I see its also a good year for sony as well, considering all that you named is multiplat except for Halo Odst and Crackdown.
