Xbox 360 and Ninja Gaiden 2

So, who here plans on buying a xbox 360 when NG2 comes out?

You don't have to reply if you already have the Xbox 360 console.

This is for: Wii fans, Sony fans, and undecided fans, not Xbox fans.

Nope to both. I have Sigma, and I can safely say it is not my cup of tea.

A Ninja Gaiden game has never sold over a million copies.

My friend owns Sigma. I played a good chunk. It doesn't have me too interested, and he hasn't cared to finish it.

NG2 is one of the few reasons I bought one awhile ago... and with DMC4 turning out like it has I'm worried NG2 will be casualized and ruined too.Lazy_Boy88

I liked the first NG and the second looks awsome but I refuse to buy a 360 because of the RROD. jdc6305

NG 1 didn't sell well because

1. it was on XBOX 1 which didn't have a huge userbase like PS2

2. its USA tv advertisment was stupid and showed barely any footage of the game

3. Microsoft wasn't the publisher so they didn't put hardly anything into marketing the game, but they should have since it was only on xbox.

with MS now publishing the sequel I would expect more of a marketing push for this one with better TV ads, hopefully some cross promotion with other products also ala halo 3.

Sigma hasn't sold well for the same reasons, hardly any advertising or marketing.

ninja gaide for the xbox still sold 1.6 million, its not that bad

I only made that post in response to the people saying "NG doesn't sell well" - and yes it sold over a million but for a game like that it should sell even more.

lately polls between the PS3 and the 360 have always been 50-50 during the first 2/3 and at the last moment the PS3 gains the slight edge, am i the only who noticed this?stika

i doubt thats the case, if you havent noticed the PS3 has been redeeming itself this year

I want NG2 so, so bad, but fear the RROD even more.

I would be so pissed if my new 360 system was to fail on me, after already knowing that it will most likely fail on me. How in the hell do you go into a situation like that? (I don't know,.. maybe you don't.)

Will I even have the right to get mad about it? I don't know. I guess you just have to suck it up and take the gamble, and hope that it doesn't happen to you.

But, I will say this- NG2 is a game that I'm not willing to go without playing, that's for sure. I will play me some NG2!

Oh well, I still have time to think about it.

its not a system seller, but i will pick it up, the games difficulty makes it worth the money :P

Its not something you can breeze through in a weekend.
