Xbox 360 - Backwards Compatability, your thoughts

So what do you guys think of the backwards compatability of the 360 with Xbox games, are you happy with it? How do you like the new Xbox orginals service? I haven't used it yet as there nothing on there that interests me, secondly being a PAL gamer some of the games do not work for Europeans using VGA connections.

The only BC games I play are Burnout 3 and Soul Calibur. Burnout runs beautifully, as fast as it did not the original Xbox, but some of the BC is just a joke. Whats the point of making the PGR games BC if they play so poorly?

Also it seems while reading the official Xbox 360 forums most people don't understand how the BC works, they have no idea about the difference between the original Xbox and the 360. There was a large thread on the forum asking why there was no achievments on the Xbox orginals downloads. A number of us more technically minded tried to explain why it isn't possible, but we were mostly ignored.

I think it's fine, almost all of my Xbox 1 games work.

Whats wrong with the original PGR games on the 360? They work fine for me.

Halo works, Ninja Gaiden works.... kinda, KOTOR works.

Thats good enough for me.
