Xbox 360 best for shooters?

First of all, I hope this is the right place to post this and the following text that you're about to read is from my opinion, so...

I heard that some people said that Xbox 360 is the console for shooter games and is better for them. I disagree. Strongly disagree. Let me tell you why... focusing on exclusives.

PS3:

• Killzone
• Resistance

Games that are not FPS but includes guns:

• Uncharted
• MGS4

X360:

• Halo
• Left 4 Dead (but... it's also on the PC)

Games that are not FPS but includes guns:

• Gears of War
• Splinter Cell: Conviction

Xbox 360 only have 1 major shooter, Halo. PS3 has 2, Killzone and Resistance, so PS3 wins here. Especially for shooter games, I think the DualShock 3 is much better because it has better analog sticks so it gives me accurate and comfortable aiming and the controller is more comfortable in overall. The X360 controller is annoying in COD games because I just don't like the analog sticks, so the aiming is much more difficult.

My question is why do some people say that Xbox 360 is best for shooters? I just don't get it.

It has the better controller for shooters.

I focused on FPS on that bit.

PS3 has more shooters (Resistence, Killzone, MAG, SOCOM, Warhawk and Dust514) and 360 has the highest rated ones (Halo, Gears and L4D). At the end it all depends of what games you prefer of course.

360 also has Metro 2033 as an exclusive. Wish I had a PS3 to play Resistance.

Well, that's your opinion. To me and many PS3 gamers, they are major just like Halo on Xbox.

Definitely not CoD.

Yeah, for multiplayer shooters lovers nothing beats Halo Reach on consoles (although I prefered Killzone 2 and 3 for singlepalyer campaign). Then again - PC is the king here.

ummm definitely COD.

If your playing shooters its for the mp, and you play mp with friends. The next logical question is, which system do your friends play on? if all your buddies play bad company 2 on xbox, but you prefer the ps3, i'm sure you're still gonna own an xbox to play with them.
