XBOX 360 controller

so here is my opinion, i guees the X360 controller is the best controller ever made for a video game console, and it's not just because i own a 360 but after playing it for a while and then holdinh a ps3 one i was afraid it would break in my hand :D, so what do you guys think ???

It HAS my favorite controller.. The Xbox 360 controller isn't the best.

Anyway, I'm not a big fan of the 360 controller. I like the Dualshock design better, though I could see it being inconvenient for shooters.

My biggest gripe with it (aside from the d-pad) is that it doesn't have discrete handles like the DS; the grips are more built into the sides. I'd also rather have flat face buttons.

Triggers are also kind of weird for anything that's not a shooter or a racer. I like the kind of shoulder buttons that were on the Gamecube pad, personally.

Personally, I prefer the PS3 controller.

Well it's better than the alternatives such as the ps1, scratch that, I mean the ps3 controller especially for shooters. I can't play shooters with the ps3 controller.

I can't stand 360's controller.

Too bulky/analogs suck/placed strangely/used to PS3's controller/battery pack is annoying.

I kinda agree, I do admit out of all the consoles I have owned the 360s controller is by far my favorite, it still is terrible for fighters.

Misplaced?? My thumbs always bump together when I play my friends Ps3. I hate that controller.

Wish the D-Pad was better, but otherwise I really love the controller. Really comfortable.

1. Crappy, cheap feeling, indented analog sticks. The right analog stick is too low especially if you have big hands. Also useless indentation bumps on the sticks

2. LB/RB button placement and overall feel of these buttons... feels awkward to have to use these buttons on a regular basis

3. Overly spherical ABXY buttons(Everyone's loved flat buttons for years... so why choose spherical buttons?)

4. Oversized dashboard button(Come on... is this really necessary?)

5. Worst D Pad ever(amirite?)

6. AA batteries and/or charge pack cost extra

7. Wireless not standard(I thought this was the age of wireless? Stop lagging behind M$)

8. Weird shape... doesn't contour to fit your hand like the Dual Shock or Gamecube controllers have

9. Crappy Start/"Back" buttons... feel way too small and plasticy.

10. Color scheme, looks, and overall appeal are just pukage

meh its aok controller,but I like the DS3 way more. Also TC just a question were you using the DS3 or sixaxis? Since when it comes to feel they are different.

The one shown is a "Death Smiles" joystick, I can't find one in stock, but Death Smiles 2 is coming out so a new one might also pop up.

It's great, but not quite perfect. I really wish Sony would have the balls to admit that the Dual Shock isn't the perfect design and actually try and evolve it a bit, though.DJ_Lae

Well i use them both regularily and they are both awesome. I hate the battery pack in the middle its annoying & my wired one is i dunno where so im trying to deal with it.

It is tied with the GC controller for my favorite gamepad of all time. The only problem is the D-pad but it is used in so few games that I don't really worry about it (I use a 360 controller with some games on my PC)

I love the controller itself, but the control sticks are too stiff compared to the Ps3 sticks.

Dual-shock edges out the 360 controller, imo. The d-pad on the 360 blew it.

I actually can't say there is a single aspect of the 360 controller i prefer over the dual-shock. Certainly not the need for extra batteries/battery packs I had to keep around for my 360 controllers.

I really like the 360 controller. It's very comfortable in my hands. my only gripes are the D-pad is absolute garbage, and I'm not a fan of the face buttons.

Dualshock is good too. I don't see how people can hate it so much.
