It's too bad your blu-ray player isn't profile 2.0 and doesn't have Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD-MA internal decoding.Thank goodness my 360 + bluray player actually costed less than a PS3 would have.

You're one of those guys that bought a Dreamcast and a DVD player to avoid the PS2, I can feel it. I also see HD-DVD's in your collection for some reason.

so true. This is a gaming forum. Please allocate all discussion about non-gaming matter to the Off-Topic thread. Above all, I'll be enjoying that motion picture on my PS3, while I have a blast gaming on my 360!

What's wrong with HD-DVDs? Same quality, less than a quarter of the price right now.
Sure, but you still can't ever play LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2 or Warhawk for free online - shame really... Going back to the original topic - it's a little silly to say that it's associated with Xbox 360 just because it's a DVD.Thank goodness my 360 + bluray player actually costed less than a PS3 would have.

Because I own a 360 means I can't own a bluray player? I don't actually...my roommate owns a PS3/Wii. I like all consoles a lot, just trying to make a point.Thank goodness my 360 + bluray player actually costed less than a PS3 would have.

So you don't own a standalone, ah ha! Even you recognize the value of a standalone Blu-Ray vs. the PS3 (Besides the fact the PS3 is rated #1 Blu-Ray player by sites like CNN, and CNET).
