xbox 360 discs have been cracked, pc can now play xbox 360 games

someone has reverse engineered the xbox 360 disc reading, and made a free software to spoof the discs, this allows an xbox 360 retail disc game to be played on PC in a standard dvd drive

this means that effectively all xbox 360 retail disc games are now pc games too

forza 1-4, battlefield 1943, rumble roses XX, too human, kameo elements of power, sonic riders, lost odyssey, gears 2,3 etc etc etc

That is interesting. MS should definitely explore making their old gen games run via emulation on PC.

That is so cool! This means preserving the games and it will drive value up.

MS should embrace this, but I understand why they can't.

This is great news for everyone but MS. So, basically, just great news.

That would be amazing, and if they really want to sell Game Pass (at least for PC) this would do a lot to push more subs.

From a game appreciation/library/curation stance, this would just be cool, obviously. But it could make good business sense, too.

@ionusX: Not a good idea to promoting theft for such a thing. Unless discussing emulation and is effecting the state of the gaming market, it's fine but disusing how to is not allowed.
