Xbox 360 Elite = useless

What's the big deal with the Xbox 360 Elite?

It's just an updated Xbox 360. It's not like people who already have an Xbox 360 are going to buy another Xbox 360!

It's great for people who want a 360 and still don't have one, but why would somebody that have a 360 will want tp buy it again?

You can upgrade into a 120GB hard drive later.

Besides, it's ugly.

This console is not enough for you guys to hype.

Those people who need those options will buy one. Those of us who just buy one to play the games will have to settle for the Premium.

No wi-fi, no replacable hard drive(hell I could put a 300GB hd into the ps3), no web browser, huge power brick still included, still no new 65nm cpu(still a huge chance of overheating), milkage to the early adopters(me), etc., etc..

 like EVERYTHING else from camera's, phones, ipods, TV's, TiVo, etc .....    

New, updated Versions always come out(except PS2 ... poke fun)

 2 years after the original is perfect ... cause my warranty will be expiring right at the same time this baby comes out ....  

 who will buy 2 360's?   The same people who buy 2 PC's, same people who know how fun LAN Parties are (Halo LAN parties still goes down with the best of LAN parties, which for me would have been QUAKE days, on PC) 

Funny thing is .. i never seen so many people come on to talk about what they are NOT getting.  When the threads should read about what is to come ... that will justify this 120Gig hardrive.  Like HD content ....  full downloadable games (mistake in my opinion), creating games of your own (they offer applications and tools to do so).  The list can be endless, but what do MS have up there sleeve to offer us (and you know there is always something).

First, this newer version is just like the many many many different versions of the ipod so get over it.

Secondly, this versions will be used more by people who download a ton of hd pay per view (notice ppv meaning you don't own it and you will have to erase it from the harddrive after your 24 hours is up) or people who want to download a ton of tv shows in HD at a price and keep them. Having HDMI is added for the ones who own high end hd tv's like plasma's and lcd's.

Outside of that if you do not fall into the above category then there is no need to get upset about the new SKU and there is no need to upgrade.
