Xbox 360 fanboys, why do you support Kinect?

I'm just trying to get into the psyche of you Xbox 360 supporters, fans and fanboys. How can you support something that spits in the face of the Xboz 360's core audience (You)? The hardcore will be the first to buy Kinect.. I've heard this from a reliable source. :P

Anywho, the 360 gaming experience need not be all hardcore and there is room for young family & friends of family to enjoy as well as I like watching them ummm, have a good time with my gaming setup. :)

What does a hardcore gamer wanrt more than get fully immersed in a game ?

Nothing, and Kinect is the only one that can fully map your body in full 3D and let you iteract with a game world like you are actually in it

So, Kinect may be used to address casuals for now, but Kinect is mainly for the hardcore and is the most hardcore immersion system in game ever so far

I am buying it day one, to see the brand new amazing technology with Kinectimals that is the first game ever to let you interact in full 3D with your hands etc and the Yoga game that is the first game ever to fully transport you in a game world and let you interact with it

We are talking about first of a kind games, casual or not, i am buying

Kinect is NOT replacing traditional controllers. Casual games will be made side-by-side traditional hardcore games, unlike what Nintendo tried to do,

Im not a 360 fanboy. I do have one and it RRoD'd yesterday. I also support Kinect because i like it.

xbox fanboys are the very ones attacking it the most.

i really don't care about it one way or the other.

if it's lame at launch i will not get it, if it gets better as time goes by then i will consider buying it. it's as simple as that.

i can't even imagine how terrible it must be to make up your mind about something and then not be able to change it no matter what happens as the situation changes.

im no fanboy and im not really THAT interested in kinect...but i do have a slight interest in it and ill tell you why....because its an added feature to a console that i own. this would explain why ALL xbox fanboys are supporting it. if you ask a bunch of gm owners why do they support onstar and why dodge people dont....well onstar aint for dodge...its for gm. ms can come up with any crazy ideas to add to the xbox they want...and even if im not interested i still think its nice for other people to have options also, the difference is choice, mr. anderson.

I've yet to see an amazing launch title for the Kinect. Or any amazing titles for it at all. The Star Wars game could be fun for a little bit, but even that crappy Star Wars lightsaber toy that plugs into the tv was fun for a bit.hellhund

I support it for the same reason you support the Move or 3DS or whatever... You hope that it furthers the experience you have with your console. I think the real question is why are you bashing something so blatently without every playing it? I guess its easier to hide as a cowardly skeptic than it is to publicly hope something is cool...

Wow, I didn't know all those things in the link were lies other than the whole Milo thing. I'm suddenly less impressed by Kinect. There's still a chance that it will end up being a great addition to gaming once Microsoft sorts a couple of things out with it but I'm not holding my breath.

River Rush - River rafting taken to a whole new level. You can jump on platforms and collect big points. You can also do tricks.

Kinectimals - The next best thing to having a pet. Great for kids who arent allowed to own pets.

Dance Masters - DDR without the pad. You can see yourself on screen. And its very exercise.

Dodgeball - Who doesnt love dodgeball? Its high speed action that the whole family can participate in.

See this video for gameplay. Two of the launch titles are shown in the video. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

that site is epic fail, microsoft hasnt lied to us about anything of the kinect, the kinect can support up to X number of people, but it depends on the hardware.
