I think it's a way to sign in using fingerprints...

That's where you need to scan your fingerprint or your iris to log in I think.

That's almost as exciting as one of those Windows updates that do absolutely nothing for you but still require you to reboot your computer.

Doesn't Kinect already do this? After I wave to turn on Kinect, it automatically scans my face and signs me in. Or is this something different altogether?

Ohk, thanks, if that's the case then it seems kind of like a useless feature :P

It would be far from perfect, Kinect can't capture fingers at most times let alone fingerprints. Chances are if it was anything other than a developer messing around it would be a body-scan of sorts. Chances are your brother will end up signed in as you half the time anyways.

Seems pointless. Why would you want to lock people off the 360? I just have it so it auto signs in when you turn it on.

If you're trying to post an HTML link, it won't work (at least with the text editor. GS is inserting some stupid code which the editor doesn't recognize. Fortunately BBCode still works: http://n4g.com/news/827805/xbox-360-getting-a-biometric-sign-in-feature
