its hard to give either game the award, Mass Effect is just as good in Environment and Character Detail

Mass effect takes it in Clothing though, the bodies seem to have much more cloth quality and stuff

Mass Effect seems to have a much more varied environment, with different settings and different feelings, although we still havnt seen much in the way of Too Human still, its only been a week since they have been releasing new info

Well, if you're asking which will be the first to dethrown Gears, I have to say Mass Effect.

However, Too Human looks fierce--loved the new vids.  All of these games look absolutely phenom.  I'd consider putting Bioshock up there as well.

Mass Effect as far as consoles go will be champ for awhile. That game just looks amazing.

Too Human. I had lost a bit of hope for Too Human after seeing the old trailer, but now I am convinced that it will end up being one of the 360's best games. It looks simply superb, and sounds incredibly unique to boot.

Mass Effect MIGHT as well, but it is just going to be an insanely fun, life consuming game, regardless. We all can easily conclude that it is at least going to look great. Better than Gears....just maybe.

They both looks better then Gears, but Mass Effect looks a tad better then Too Human.

Meh the styles are too different, both Unreal Engine 3.0 & Cryengine 2 are the future engines, in 2 seperate ways.

About 1/2 the game- Act 1,2,,5. . Its suppose to span over a day.

How can you say its over rated if you havnt even played it let alone apprently even watched any of the videos or seen any of the screens.

Half of the game is in daylight, and there are multiplayer maps in the daylight.

I have not seen anything in MGS4's graphics that look as good as gears. It looks on par with quake 4 graphics or bullet witch.

if that's daylight, I hope it's only there for artistic purposes and not because they had to hide under the darkness and the shiny.thedarkomen

What are you talking about, the game last over a 24 hour cycle its not a game that skips around, its either dark or light because thats the time of day its supose to be.

Seriously, the biggest myth told about Gears is that it takes place in dark, small areas, when in fact, it takes place mostly in sunlit, wide open areas like the one you posted. Even the dark areas (was it Act 3? ) aren't even that dark.
