Cheaper? Not if you're looking for Xbox Live functionality. More exclusives? Count the first party exclusives on PS3. Greater and better library? I'll give you, ATM. But I'm certainly not dissatisfied with the amount of titles I have for the PS3, while I was certainly amused to see a deficiency in Xbox titles months after launch. It's the same situation. Jump into what? A console that's been on the market while I blissfully ignored its existence for a full year? No thanks. That's jumping in too deep and in too dark of waters for my tastes. Additionally, I must say, I like my movies in high def.Redfingers

Even oblivion after one whole year has some worst textures, and far worst lighting/colors than PS3. In facti am beggining to think PS3 has a HUGE color level problem, they just can't get the colors as vibrand and amazing as on 360, PS3 Oblivion looks like it has half the color/contrast, looks totally washed out, and since i play with max saturation on my tv for Oblivion to look stunning, the PS3 version would be the most huge dissapointment in my gaming life with that kind of contrasts and colors

oh give it up with the 'this is only using half a percent' BS, people said Gears was only using one of the 360's procesors. For one, we don't and cant know how much percent is really being used, and for two, i dont want a machine were devs only use a small percentage of the machines power. Who cares what is and isnt being used, the final product is what it is and thats that. MS havent over promised on power with the 360 like sony have with the ps3 (motostorm doesnt look like the first vids that were released) and its looking as good as ps3 graphics with somegames, better with some and not as good with some, thats all that matters. I dont care how games are made or how much power they use or how efficiently they use they're machines power, I'll take them 1 game at a time and base my oppinion on the results of each.the1stmoonfly

 Are you kidding me ? Go see gametrailers videos, and after the patch you can hardly find any better looking point on PS3, only worst, colors/lighting/HDR ARE worst, you can't say otherwise when i have the videos to prove it

All iknow is that i play Oblivion with maxed saturation on, and i would never buy a version that would look on that max point, like in 50% settings, would simply look like garbage

OMG, this is fanboy man himself, The console is cheaper, the end, It does have more exclusives ATM, the end. You cant incluse XBL in the price, its an extra service you dont have to have and its only the price of a game, if you include this in the system price you must include all games in the system price, which everyone will agree you cant do, the end. And as for HD movies, I get HD movies through my 360 just fine, and without any HD drive add on, thats right folks, i havent paid for any HD movie playing hardware, not HD DVD, not Blu-ray. I stream HD movies over my wireless network from my PC and down load my HD movies, so in this respect my 360 save me a bundle. I like the look of a ps3, so im not bashing it, but the points you made are, well, pointless. Just admit that the 360 is a good system, that right now is leading the market because thats the truth, you dont have to like it, you can prefer the ps3 if you want, but dont post BS.

NO its ps3 = 360 because its really personal taste. plus i have friends that only have multiplatform games that are on the 360. A lot poeple i know that own a 360 don't play games like gears and other shooter games. They play sports games. I dont know why u guys think live is great thing because your paying for it.ff7isnumbaone

My own eyes >>>>> any review in the world, anyway it has been confirmed by a host of user reviews, colors on PS3 are washed out, gametrailers vids just confirms it, of course it comes down to personal preference, you might love a washed out gme with some better textures (and some worst in many other places !!!), than a vibrand world, full of next gen contrasts and shadows, grass that does not look like on my 5 year old pc, and HDR that actually glows with color, not white only

At first i thought both versions equal, now after seeing how bad PS3 looks, it is unthinkable that i would ever buy PS3 version, not just because it has left out bump mapping in town grounds making them flat, but because the overall feel just looks bad and washed out

playstation exclusives? like DMC4, AC6, VF5, Guitar hero 2, Assassin's Creed, and the next to jump in MGS4, FF, and Dragon Quest.UnitedMLS

Ive never heard of scrambled screens except on Westinghouse TVs with HDMI. That is Westinghouse's fault, and they will fix it for you with an in home repair if you call them. And PS3 has been out for 5 minutes? :P Wow , I thought it was much longer than that heh.

Oh, and about the Disk slots messing up, it was just a faulty loader in the PS3. Its not like the 360 with the Red ring of death where everyone and their mom gets it. Ive only seen a few people complaining of their drive not loading the discs.

I think it has more to do with the nvidia chip and the way it renders things, i have read numetrous times in pc forums that ATI has far better colors production, and is proven in BOTH Oblivion and COD3 on PS3, they just do not look next gen at all, no real shadows/contrasts/HDR, but even if you do not count that, those town textures on PS3 are flat and not 3D, meaning PS3 is behind 360 in textures too by far
