Xbox 360 has only crappy exclusives

Because the really good xbox exclusives end up hitting the PC. So eliminate Halo 3, Bioshock, and probably Mass Effect sooner or later. And if a 360 game is also on PC or at least we know it will be (Halo 2 now on PC) then its not worth our timing buying it on 360.

Hiding behind a PC? Well, If I can afford a PS3, then I can afford a PC. The point of the thread is that a 360 in the "long run" is a waste of money when all its "hit" exclusives hit the PC 1 to 2 years later. I have a valid point.

I don't need a PC to hide behind either, my PS3 is bas@ss enough to have fun with. And if you look at the 2007 games coming, the PS3 looks more impressive in the graphics department already.

Most big PS hits don't hit the PC. Killzone 2 won't, Metal Gear 4 won't, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Lair, Heavenly Sword. All PS3 only.

True, but the PCs you need to play Bioshock, GEARS or UT3 will cost you $2k+. And im talking 1680+ res with 4AA/16AF. It really doesnt hurt the 360, because it usually comes out on 360 first.

MS wins both ways

(1) you play those games on the 360, MS gains since you've bought one of their machines and they get royalty off of every game sold or rented (hell they take all the money if it's a game they developed and published on their own)...PLUS, if said game has online then chances are you're playing it on XBL, which again means more dough for MS

(2) most people play the PC versions of those games on windows, which again means money in MS's pocket, plus if the game was developed and published by MS (like Halo for the PC), again, MS makes money

That's not what I'm saying at all. Who owns Windows? Who owns Xbox? Who would stand to make the most money if a game went from 360 to PC? Who makes the decision to put games on windows?

Its all about MS and all about MS money. Pretty easy to see that it has nothbiong to do with how good the game is in the whole gaming world. Just how good it does on 360. Get a clue and quit trying to twist words.

You cows are all about graphics right? You dont need it to play, but you will need atleast a 7900GTX/X1900XT to run those games well, and thats @ 1280x1024, any higher you will need my card or a 8800series card. You can quote me on that, ive been PC gaming for about 10 years now, every year is the same, new games WILL push these DX10 cards.

Timed exclusives dont sell consoles. So it doesnt hurt, what hurts is sales of games like halo 1/2 on PC (i had halo 1 on PC and I LOVED IT, looked great in DX9) :D

How if some are on the fence on which console to buy, and own a PC, they may not worry about buying a 360 just to play a game that they can play on PC.

Those sort of people don't really own gaming rigs or at least they are not the same sort of gamer as me. I can't see how a hermit can laugh at the fact that Halo 3 or GeoW are coming to the PC eventually. If you where that much of a gamer, you'd buy a 360 and play them when they first come out.

It's like someone waiting for Gears to come out on platinum before buying it. You'll still love the SP, but no one will be playing the MP and if they are they will be a lot better than you.

By the time Gears comes out for the PC, the game will of been played to death by the majority of avid gamers, with only those who missed the boat playing. Lemmings will be onto the next best thing, which at the moment is looking like Halo 3 or we'll be playing crysis on outr gaming PC rigs.

It does not matter in sales, 360 destroys in software sales, especially third party which are multiplats. What was it 18 to 0 on both the wii and Ps3 on Top 10 charts for Third Party? I think so!
