Xbox 360 is dominating Amazon Japan

360 still has a bunch of games that are the style that sells in Japan. Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, Cry On, Maybe Naruto and others.

I think that 360 will become bigger and bigger over there as games become more, right now it is only Blue Dragon, nowcomes Eternal Sonata, so they can geta system for 2 games, now add Naruto and Lost Odyssey by year's end, and 360 will n o longer seem a bad idea, especially when all other consoles have not even one proper next gen JRPGgreg_splicer

I think the 360 will only get about 1.5 to 2 million for this gen. Still not real good but a hell of alot better then then what the xbox did last gen.

But on the naruto game that is being made by ubisoft is being aimed at  north american buyers. I dont even think this game will be released in japan. Its focus is mainly eps 1-80. Please dont ask me how I know this :cry:

It will NEVER be bigger than what's already projected (3rd place).  Not only do they like home team consoles (Nintendo/SOE) but it doesn't help that the hardware is the biggest POS in the history of gaming hardware.  Maybe it's just me but I think the fact that the X360 only is lasting around a year for a good amount of customers is enough to scare that market.   Heck remember when the original Xbox released and it was scratching their discs......hell retailers actually stopped SELLING the hardware.  Japan seems it's treating the X360 just like the original Xbox......which means they are never going to have the sales they need in that market to label it as a success.

Then since you are so sure amazon in japan sells 1-2 things per/year, why don;t you provide the link that you gt your info from, just to let us know, how the hell are you sure those Eternal Sonata copies sold are below 100 per month, or below 10 as you might suggest

Right, then they definatly stores have ZERo Wii consoles too and Wii games, since a week ago Wii was FAR ahead of 360 and Wii games first in top100

See now, PS3 outsells 360 in germany and france, and i can clearly see that in those amazon sites, it IS an indication, and in UK it IS an indication that 360 sells well, not that it sels better than PS3 as is the reality, but again it is an indication

Um, I understand what you mean, but I would never use Amazon Top 100 charts for analysing a consoles market growth.

im suprised to see they havnt pushed viva pinata over there. its got that animal crossing like element which seems to be pretty popular in japan. also if rare do a good enough job of banjo IMO inroads can be made into the nintendo fanbase aswell
