World in Conflict, Civilization, Fallout...
Will it ever stop?

360 is going to drag the quality those franchises are known for through the ground... And those series could become completely Xbox'd, making future entries consolised and dumbed down. :(World in Conflict PC version wont be effected so it doesnt matter.
Civilizations REvolution is only for consoles so it doesnt effect us.
Fallout 3 ... this IP was discontinued ... so it wouldnt of existed at all in its old form anyway.

Hermits should learn to share lol :PEPaulWe don't mind sharing, as long as you people don't butcher our games.

Anyway, I always thought the devs created the games? But I guess you don't want to blame them for (whatever)now do you?

Are they going to release a patch to make World in Conflict "Xbox'd" on PC?
What's the deal? You guys afraid 360 will get a console version of Crysis that has good AI and physics?
Ok, that's kinda a joke, but y'know, kinda not.
Anyway I'm buying Civ on day one I love that series not just on PC but even the ancient PS1 version that I must have put 200 hours into back in the day.
The gameplay elements are always simplified for the simpleton Xbox 360 fanbase and the complexity and depth these IPs once had gets completely lost. :( That really sucks for us hermits because we end up playing games that are worse than their predecessors... Just like Morrowind was much better than Oblivion.TheMysticHorseDon't worry so much, theres always minesweeper to fall back on.

The Xbox game came after, it was developed with PC and its audience in mind first...What kind of gamer doesn't want other gamers to enjoy great IPs. Just goes to show you how sad system wars is :| "sigh"silentobiits not that we don't want other gamers to enjoy great IPs, its when those great IPs become consolized that we don't like it.

Morrowind didn't have a directional compass with quest icons. Also, you had to read your quests from a VERY LONG journal. Those are the only twochanges I can think of that I didn't like.[QUOTE="silentobi"]What kind of gamer doesn't want other gamers to enjoy great IPs. Console players are the ones getting screwed here If the dev makes a bad port. PC gamers will still have the superior version, so why the hate?

I'm talking about consolization. IE, Rainbow Six, The Elder Scrolls, Deus Ex, fallout 3, etc.

The 360 is like a low-end PC, so it just makes logical sense for PC developers to make games for it. Regardless, PC gamers will still be getting their big hits, and now console gamers get the chance to enjoy them.
My friend doesn't have a beefy PC, but he has a 360. Now we can both talk about Orange Box and Bioshock and it's just more fun for everyone!
