Xbox 360 loses another EXCLUSIVE Franchise! New IP was Xbox Published too!

It's one thing for a VIDEOGAME series to go multiplatform, but for a a series published by one of the console manufacturer's, it's kind of rare (Ninja Gaiden 2 is the only example I can think of this generation).

Perhaps the Xbox Brand is spending too much time aquiring limited timed deals, rather than investing on making their own franchises or at least IP's? Who knows.

I guess when it comes to the videogaming, nothing is truly sacred if another company owns the IP. That's the power Nintendo has over Mario, he's 100% Nintendo, just as an example.

Scene It 360 was originally concieved to rival SONY's Popular BUZZ series, found on PS2, then on PSP, and now on PS3. Now it's coming to PS3, Wii, you name it.

Well, this is a NEW FRANCHISE for consoles!

The first two games were Xbox 360 Exclusives, they were published by Xbox, and it was an exciting New IP for the console.

It's crazy, but I understand that this news can shatter our resolve.:P

Well, it's huge news for some of us! There is a REAL pattern here of Xbox making timed deals, we all can see that at this point in time.:shock:

Really, it was supposed to be funny, since SW needs to have a laugh with it's news once in a while.

Yes, but Final Fantasy and Tekken weren't Sony developed properties, this is unique in the fact that the series was brought to consoles by Xbox, and published by Xbox.

Plus, let's be honest, This Franchise is Way bigger than Final Fantasy, Tekken, and Halo put together. :lol:

I'll start: we can... we can petition like they did for DMC4 and FF13 (and i'm sure many other things), it works... by making us feel warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Oh, yeah, those PS3 games were definitely were exclusive, no doubt. I will always remember the months and months of threads in SW regarding that ownage.

I was only talking about the publishing and concept of taking the board game and bringing it to console gaming.:)

As far as bringing it to console gaming and publishing, it was MS. Check out the bottom right hand corner of the box :

Now, we can see Sony is paying them back for Final Fantasy and Tekken, etc...plus, Wii's getting it too!

Yes, but SW has 100's of threads on your proposed topics, and this news is coming to SW for probably the first time.

You really should look at the archived stuff, it's full of LONG, LONG threads of ownage that you seem to really want to see, which is understandable since you weren't here to see it first hand....like me. ;)

Do you know the history of Scene it for Consoles, do you know WHY it was created, do you know WHO developed the Console versions of the older board game? (Seattle based companies WXP and Screenlife...Seattle you say, hmmmm...), Do you know who had Scene it for 360 made and why?Do you really, honestly care to know the answers to all of this? Is it worth my or your time? I have plenty of info on Scene it, but what's the point?

There is a lot of questions here that you seem to be asking, but instead of all of that jazz, why not just enjoy the news.

My posts still stands, Tekken 6 is published by Namco, and FFXIII is published by SquareEnix. Both games are also developed by the publishers. Now that we have cleared that up, read my OP again, and you can see I mentioned Published in the TOPIC and in the THREAD itself. I didn't want to get into a HUGE Scene it argument, what's the point, it's Scene it.

It's rare to see a 1st Party Published series on other consoles, that's always been my point. As far as FFXIII and Tekken 6, those threads were done to death, and are easily viewed as they are still archived.

How is this news..these games were in stores on November 17th..

Heck Wii even got a Twilight version of Scene it. If I was Screen Life and trying to appeal to 10 year old girls that where I would put it.
