It could have gone either way, "turn the controller around" could have ment to move the analog stick, and the comment about "shaking the box" he could have only been refering to the box ingame.
RARE has stated the game can be played with a normal controller so I don't really care.
this guys is not a designer, so i think he may have misspokeMaybe he was referring to the crane in the game as the controller?
On a side not, the graphics are amazing.

Not really, Kameo looks MUCH better.man the gfx look realy good in the game so good to but banjo sucks but still cool

[QUOTE="Jakendo"]You are talking about the part where he says "you have to shake the controller" right? cronus233Yup.
I could have sworn he said "you have to shake the box" but the part about the controller was "turn the controller around"

Yeah, I don't thinks it's anything to do with motion control... he says "Turn these devices, so you basicly grab with the wrench and then you twist the controller around and it'll move different things in the game, I'll shake my box free"Mini transcript there :P I think he's referring to the thing you grab with kazooie's wrench as the controller, NOT your X360 controller
[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"]MS please don't make this standard where now I have to start playing games with motion.lawlessx
i highly doubt they will do that
If they don't, the motion controller will fail. Full stop, it NEEDS to be a requirement for some games at least to be marginally popular.[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"]MS please don't make this standard where now I have to start playing games with motion.lawlessx

But some form of hybrid would be great, like a standard 360 controller that detachesI would say I wish this motion sensor fad wouldn't go anywhere near PC, but funnily enough it started on PC.
People think it started with Nintendo and the Wiimote; but look where Nintendo licensed the Wiimote technologies from.

Unfortunately, that port is only for charing the batteries, it cannot output signals or take in any either. Also, if you want a truely new controller instead of an afterthought you have to go down the Wii route instead of Sixaxis[QUOTE="thrones"][QUOTE="ReturnOfShinobi"][QUOTE="lawlessx"]

if this is true then all fanboys who said motion control is a gimmic got owned, on a side note the game looks greatlegend26
How? Because it is coming to their console? They have no control over that. That, in most cases, won't change someone's opinion on whether or not it is a gimmick.
Perhaps, but peripherals like that probably won't sell welll unless it's forced as a requirement on several high profile games.

Dualshock says different, and MS can start a mass campaign to get people to buy the new controller, or convince people with good exclusives. Heck, if they get something catchy out that the casuals will love, then people would buy it in droves. Look at Wii Sports
One thing that may work is an attachment that sends signals using a dongal, but yeah, its still a sixaxis
That one in the center.

That's not even on the wired controller. However if you look towards the bottom, to each side of the headset jack, you'll see a pair of slots with electrical pins. There's already at least one peripheral that uses these.

I only recall one game that actually required it. Umm, though I think more important was the fact that the dualshock actually replaced the original controller... later PS1s all came bundled with it, and I believe they discontinued the original controller as well as the dual-analog (leaving you with no choice as to which new controller you bought).

DualShock had several high profile games attached to it ;)It did, but most games could be played just fine with the standard d-pad.On the other hand, games like Wii Sports would work with a standard controller, but it would suck hard, oh wait, Wii Sports already sucks hard...
One thing people forget is that Quake 2 and some other shooters on PSone did the dual thumbstick thing WAY before Halo
Oh wow, just how are they going to introduce it?ReturnOfShinobithis is it. let it slide on a teaser then admit it after a billion people ask why, a few days before e3.

I hope it's a six-axis kinda deal. I dont want big time motion sensing for the 360. Ugh.
