I love my 60GB PS3. The games (exclusives), online, controller (except for shooters), backward compatibility (upscale and convenient save system). I like my 360 for its games that aren't on the PS3, more unified (but I don't experience it since I don't pay for Live), but I've experienced problems with it already. I'm scared to turn it on each time. Overall, I've had a much better experience with my PS3.
I tried the 360 before PS3 came out, but it's hardware failing on me twice left a bad taste in my mouth along with paying for everything and MS controlling everything you buy for it made me no tlike it at all. It's been PS3 all the way ever since it was released. PS3 treats it's gamers well and comes with more included than any othe rsystem (WiFi, web browser, free themes, rechargable controllers, free online, bluray player, reliable system, unscratchable discs, any brand HDD up to 500gb for $89 etc)
360 $50/yr for each online ID which sucks when you have 5 people all wanting their own like in my house, WiFi a $80 add on, Rechargeable controllers $12 for each battery and $30-50 for the charger, regular scratchable DVDs that aren't high Definition, HDD over $100 with a maximum of 160 gb, no web browser, system has had lots of hardware failures.
Really, we would have never guessed.[QUOTE="Slambo86"][QUOTE="PAL360"]
360 is easly one of the best system i ever had. PS3 is just another console powered by a heavy brand. So, 360.....no contest

and why should i care about it?

Umm, you don't...but since you replied, you're interested, right? Just thought i might add that, rather funny. :) btw, just another console powered by a heavy brand? That goes both ways, but you have to admit the PS3 has it's advantages.[QUOTE="PAL360"]

Sure it has great exclusives. I would love to play LBP, KZ2, Heavy Rain and God of War 3. But honestly it doesnt justify its price and hype imo

I guess it just comes down to the person. I bought at close to launch and haven't regretted it yet. I love both my consoles so I have a tremendous mix of games.

But you have to admit aswell that if PS3 didnt have the playstation brand behind it, gamers probably wouldnt give it an oportunity considering theres a cheaper option with more games.
ALL of them and NONE of them at the same time  .
For my Lust for Video Games is never satisfies
AL THE VIDEO GAMES OF THE WORLD WILL NEVER SATISFIES MY LUST FOR PLAYING VIDEO GAMES

Define CHEAP, considering what PS3 comes with..its a better deal, IMO.it's all based on game preference. what may appeal to one gamer might not appeal to the next.
with that said I'd rather have my ps3 since I've had a lot of fun with MGS4, Demon's Souls, and I'm looking forward to heavy rain, god of war 3, white knight chronicles, ff13 versus (I'm really interested in an action type take on the ff series), and the new ICO title that's going to be announced eventually. Nothing has really appealed to me on the 360 other than mass effect which I can play on pc, braid which I can play on PC, and the fable games which I know nothing about so there's a possibility I could change my mind on that if I ever look into it.
I could almost agree with you except for the fact that you got almost every price wrong for the 360 stuff and got the HDD gigs wrong too. You should do more research before you spout wrong numbers.I tried the 360 before PS3 came out, but it's hardware failing on me twice left a bad taste in my mouth along with paying for everything and MS controlling everything you buy for it made me no tlike it at all. Playstation 3. I leave the Xbox 360 in the smaller room now. I didn't renew my Live subscription because I've yet to play any Xbox 360 game in the past 4 months. PS3 is getting all the gaming right now... and online is free. Plus Blu Ray kicks ass on the big screen... and this might sound weird because I'm not audiphile... but the PS3 seems to have a better sound to it.

then he states how DVD disks aren't HD. DVD's are a storage medium, you could put HD content on a CD if you could compress it enough... storage medium =/= HD

Whats with these people? I prefer my 360 to my PS3 but, I can still admit that the PS3 is a fun machine and I am glad that I have one. I find that partaking in a little debate with fanboys is often pretty fun
i have both and enjoy gaming on both consoles.. however PS3 is my favorite system...
If i had to buy just 1 console this gen, i would get the PS3, since it offers the best package and in terms of exclusives i tend to prefare the ones out on it

i COMPLETELY disagree with that. gamers choose their console either because of what games the console has or which company they've always prefered. a non-gamer wouldnt just choose the PS3 cuz it has the playstation name, same goes for choosing the 360 cuz it has the microsoft name, or...wii. but if you had an xbox last gen you'd probably rather buy a 360 this gen, same goes for PS2-PS3.+1 my wii got sold...ps3 is collecting dust...360 is easly one of the best system i ever had. PS3 is just another console powered by a heavy brand. So, 360.....no contest

Xbox 360 Wow what a awesome console....it was made for gamers
ps3 haha only thing selling that is the sony brand!
wow was i a sucker killzone 2 was just another average wannabe!
360 has my attention.
The biggest reason is XBL, better matchmaking, stability and more features.
The second reason is HD gaming (what!?). Although the 360 is DVD based, it displays more games in 1080p than the PS3, which is disappointing to me.
Lately, the PS3 has had the better exclusives, but the online is bad and may get worst (as far as DLC goes) as Sony charges devs to sell it's DLC.
IMO, the controllers are a wash, while the 360 is more comfortable, the PS3 controller seems more precise.
