I was going to get a ps3 but all my friends had 360's so i bought the 360.

Yeah, it's much better to have the console your friends have.

the only big difference is price of PS3 but then for 360 you gotta pay for xbox live

oh boy..360. im gonna end it at that since this topic is going to become a flame war anyway.

360's online community/software is years ahead of the ps3 so if you're really into online gaming the 360 is the way to go.

The 360 is more likely to have third party exclusives due to cheaper/easier development, but the quality of exclusives is mostly a personal choice. So you have to ask yourself do I like killzone, or do I like Gears of War?

Another consideration is the 360 hardware problems, and sony's history of hardware failure. While the 360 has had a history of hardware failer MS hasn't. Sony on the other hand has had hardware problems w/ the 2 previous generations, and normal these problems don't spring up for a couple years into the consoles life. We are just hearing about the YLOD (yellow light of death) with early models, and history has proven sony will fight consumers tooth and nail over hardware problems. I will say that so far the ps3 has been more reliable than the ps3, but w/ sony's history who knows how long that'll last.
