It's not as if this is news to anyone. If it were completely reliable there wouldn't be a 3 year warranty on every console in place from the time you buy it.

How do you propose they fix something that can be caused by any general hardware problem? Since those 3 red lights mean "General Hardware Failure".. how do you propose they fix that?

Sure, they know what causes SOME of the problems, But you don't seem to understand the nature of the error code t hat ppl call the "RRoD"... those 3 red lights mean General Hardware Failure.. which means, ANY hardware failure can cause it. And what i'm saying and you're not comprehending is that the problem that is 'well known' isn't the only reason that error code would show up. Dude it is the main reason, over heating gpu is the reason for the high failure rate. Look it up man, when you tell microsoft you have rrod they tell you the price up front, $140, if your warranty is out.
