Now the nintendo 64.

I think the winner is clear. So much for the 360 being called "teh texture king"
Wii FTW.

Wasnt GUN a direct port from the Xbox / PS2 / GC one?MrGrimFandangoI think it was built from the ground up, to play the strengths of the 360.

And how do you explain Mass Effect?

Just goes to show that even Xbox 360 isn't immune to launch game syndrome. There were more last-gen ports on the 360 than there were on the PS3.KeyWiiThe lemmings need to read this post.

So what's your point?
And we all know GUN is the best looking game on the 360.
I'd own you with some screens from better looking games, but it's clear you've already owned yourself. :|

and lemmings bash the wii the same way. it's true.Pangster007Not necessarily. Even the first-party games on the Wii leave a lot to be desired in the graphics department. Of course, that will change when some decent games are released in the future, but as it stands, you can probably get a better graphical experience from your gamecube or xbox than your Wii. There's just nothing on there which looks remotely decent right now.

That is all, and thank you for your time.
PS3 had more next-gen games at launch than Xbox 360 or Wii. So what if they were multi-platform? Next-gen multiplats are better than last-gen ports like the 360 and Wii had.KeyWiiHow do you expect the 360 to have next gen ports? PS3 had less good exclusive games at launch then the 360 (but this is wayyy off topic..I think).

Perfect Dark Zero? The game that was outsold by Call of Duty 2? Xbox 360's 1 of 2 exclusive AAA's?Yes. But it's a port of a last-gen game which didn't look great to begin with. The console cant make a crap looking game magically appear good, now can it? :| If you want proof that the machine is indeed capable of excellent textures, you should simply look at Perfect Dark Zero, Gears of War or Mass Effect to name a few. Heck, even the early shot of Halo 3 that bungie posted (the master chief model) has incredible detail on the armour textures.
Right, but he is also saying that as Gun to be one of the first games for Xbox 360 has pretty bad textures for a so called texture king.

and lemmings bash the wii the same way. it's true.Pangster007You know the Wii and PS3 had 1 more year in production then the 360. Well actually the PS3 had 2 more years in prodction. That gives them no excuses to rely so heavily on ports. Remind me again which last gen port on a 360, sold as many 360s as the Zelda one did, in percentages please. Just for the really slow out there. The only reason why they were the amount of ports for the 360. Is becasue the same lazy devs that ignored the Xbox for so long gave it the same PS2 port treatment. These are the same devs who held up the industry as they ususally do.

Are you that big a fanboy that you cant read my post and take note of me saying it's a good system which WILL get nice-looking games at some point, but right now there aren't any? Is that not a fair point? :|
